Probably the best Hostel I have ever stayed , absolutely clean and spacious . Toilet and locker is well separated from the room which is great . Only downside is its location is not so convenient to access but it is located in a nice neighborhood.

This hostel has got everything right in my opinion. It is warm and inviting with really attentive and helpful staff. The atmosphere is fabulous, they have other offerings, paid and unpaid.
It is a grown ups hostel is how another guest perfectly described it to me. Sophisticated, clean and the breakfast has a very good selection with a well furnished kitchen for preparing your own food at other times.
I highly recommend this hostel and congratulate its founders for giving their guests such a positive experience.

It is a clean and stylish hotel. The breakfast was rich and varied and I enjoyed it. There is also a bar. I would like to stay here again.

Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir zwei Nächte (im Februar 2024) hier verbringen durften. Das Hotel - zusammen mit einem Hostel geführt liegt in einer ruhigeren Ecke mit vielen Gallerien und kleinen Shops. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Porto zu erkunden. Wir haben einen Uber vom Flughafen genommen - es geht jedoch auch mit dem Bus 601/602 … Wir haben eine sehr herzliche Begrüßung erfahren dürfen. Unser Zimmer war im Townhouse gegenüber - somit nur ein paar Schritte über die Straße entfernt - und mit Blick in den innenliegenden Garten. Unser Zimmer war schön geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet, das Badezimmer noch ursprünglich - super schön - die Dusche mit Blick in den Garten. Das Bett sehr bequem - Wasser und kleine Schokis waren mit im Zimmer. Im Townhouse sind nur wenige Zimmer - ganz unten ist noch zusätzlich eine Gemeinschaftsküche. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt - im Restaurant (Haupthaus) kann man jeden Tag ein feines Mittagsmenü bestellen - oder auch zu Abendessen. Wir haben das Angebot am ersten Abend genutzt - es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war sehr gut und professionell. Das Frühstück - für die Townhouse-Gäste ebenfalls sehr gut a eine schöne Auswahl an süßen und herzhaften Speisen, zudem konnte man sich noch Eierspeisen und Toast bestellen. Frische Paisteis de Nata gab es auch noch. Wir waren begeistert - es ist alles super schön - und lecker … Aber vor allem die Mitarbeiter*innen sind super herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Gallery Townhouse & Home mehr als empfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder! Volle Punktzahl!

Everything about my experience was just lovely :) the hostel was super clean and nicely decorated (it is literally a “gallery”). The area felt safe as a solo female traveler, and it was just a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. There was also a nice selection of restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the hostel, including multiple vegetarian/vegan options. Good ac, good wifi. My room had a balcony which I didn’t even realize when I booked. The staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was tasty and had a wide variety of options (including pasteis de nata), and if you asked the day before they would even pack you a breakfast box for the next morning (like if you needed to leave earlier than breakfast opened). I would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone considering it, and if I ever find myself back in Porto I will probably book it again :)
