Wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel Everything was to an exceptional standard and Susana was so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay perfect giving so much information. Weather wasn’t the best so will hopefully return when sun shining and will certainly stay at Maison Cabral again

Maison cabral was exellent hotel to spend our vacation. Staff was very frendly and gave us many useful tips what to do in Porto. Room was brilliant and clean also quiet. The balcony was nice with pool view. Location was very good, easy to walk to city centre. Thank for lovely staying.

We are on our last night before heading home from Porto and have truly had the most amazing stay at Maison Cabral. It's a total gem tucked away in what feels like a residential area but not far from local bars, restaurants and the sights of Porto. Alberto, Susana and the team have been absolutely amazing and cannot do enough for you. They gave us some great tips for our stay and greeted us like family each time we saw them. The added bonus of their furry friends Luchino & Vitorio (the cats) made us feel even more at home. Our room was perfect with a modern and classy feel, in keeping with the rest of the hotel and we absolutely loved the garden and pool area. We stayed for a week which was perfect as we were able to explore Porto in the morning and then laze around the stunning pool in the afternoon (with the cats😻). Kurt & Dave

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my fiancé! Having stayed at many hotels, both myself and my fiancé were blown away by everything from the level of customer service to the room and pool facilities which were all extremely well maintained and comfortable . All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile to help with making our time even more special! The location was also excellent! Close to all the main sites but also a retreat from the busy streets in the heat! We would highly recommend anyone visiting Porto to book Maison Cabral and I can reassure you will not want to leave this beautiful oasis in the heart of the city! Thanks to the team at Maison Cabral for the most special trip♥️

A delightful oasis visiting Porto during Sao Joao. We arrived at 3AM due to electrical storm. Lovely Susanna met us and helped with our bags. A busy 3 days with help from Alberto & Innes with restaurant suggestions, itinerary planning and where to go for festival. Our suite on 1st floor was beautifully furnished, with balcony, two comfortable beds, kitchen facilities & great bathroom & shower. It truly was so lovely coming back eacd afternoon/evening. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the boutique style and size was charming. One day we hope to return to then adventure North

What a wonderful oasis in Porto, the team made us feel so welcome and wished we had stayed a few more days, our room was spacious and looked out across the garden and pool which was a great way to cool off in the afternoons, thank you Susana,Alberto, Ines, Luchino & Victorio

Fantastic boutique hotel. Alberto and Susana are wonderful and very helpful. Alberto greeted us when we arrived and spent a great deal of time mapping out areas for us to explore. The hotel was very, very comfortable and updated. We stayed 5 nights in a beautiful, large room on the second floor that had a balcony overlooking the street. The hotel is probably a 10-15 minute walk to the sites we wanted to see. However, this was not a problem because we love to walk and the area was quiet. Even the one morning it was rainy and we were going to Sao Bento (taking a train to Douro), we simply called an Uber - 3-4 Euros to go to the station. Alberto recommended a very nice coffee shop for breakfast about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again. It is an exceptional place.

Maison Cabral was my absolute favourite thing about my two night stay in Porto. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The warm welcome from Susana (and Luchino!), the stunningly beautiful building, the super gorgeous room (Monica) with the view of the pool from large windows, a spacious bathroom, a compact kitchenette, a smart TV, lots of power sockets, comfy quality bedding etc. There was even a cute little bar area with drinks & snacks available to purchase. On top of which, the location was very walkable with so many attractions/things to do, eat & drink within 10-30 mins walk. Lots of restaurants, cafes, a park and even grocery mini markets (two Pingo Doces) very close by. It is a very residential area, very provincial and not very touristy at all. This meant I definitely stood out, however, this didn’t affect my safety. It was November so it got dark early, but I felt absolutely fine - as a solo woman - walking in the neighbourhood at night. Thank you so much, Susana. You, Luchino and Maison Cabral definitely made my trip to Porto more special! Best wishes always, Nadine
