The room was spacious, well lit by two large garden view rooms and kept cool, but the wooden floor was very creaky and there was clear signs of damp on one wall. Major complaint was that breakfast was sold as "included", but turned out to be a €15 per person limit that was not mentioned at any time when booking, arriving or sitting down at breakfast 5 days in a row, only when it came to pay! Bit of a scam there.

Fantastic elegant and cozy-style hotel Great artistic area outside the main turist areas 5* recommendation Enjoyed the great rooms. Excellent architectural blend between old and modern details. Enjoyed the wild garden! Fantastic breakfast ( all day brunch ) Didn’t try The Supper Club but the concept sounds great

We loved this Hotel. It's quirky & creaky & leaves us with fabulous memories. Our room was a great size with a balcony looking out over the garden of the hotel and the back gardens of the neighbourhood properties. The staff were brilliant and so friendly. We were given great Restaurant Recommendations by P at the Hotel and all within reasonable walking distance of the Hotel. We even witnessed one of the boys helping a fellow Guest track down his lost luggage. He was so helpful. Thank-you all at Rosa et Al, sometimes it's not easy but you made our stay a lovely, happy memory.

O quarto era bastante espaçoso, mas como o chão é de madeira e não é bem cuidado, faz muito barulho quando andamos nele. Banheira ótima, deu para tomar um banho relaxante. A única coisa que falhou muito foi o pequeno almoço, paguei para ter pequeno almoço incluído no valor da estadia e quando fomos comer só era incluído até 15€. UM COMPLETO SCAM!! Porque em nenhum lado da minha reserva continha essa informação e fiquei muito insatisfeita!!

Terrible experience, cold shower and the hotel is lying about it; for 2 days; rude staff; this place cannot be recommended, it should be shut down; the management team is trying to lie about which clearly points to the unprofessional manner in which this place is operate; I advise not to book at this place

The location is very good as you can easily walk from here into the city. The house is definitely charming but as it is an old house that also comes with quite some noise from the other rooms and traffic, especially because the floors and shower make quite some noise. So if you sleep light this might be an issue. The staff of the hotel is wonderful as well as the breakfast. For the price you pay I would have expected something better and would not book it again.

A lovely hotel but I was extremely disappointed with the unusual bathroom set up. Not really an en-suite as the walls do not meet the ceiling so the toilet is in the same room as the bed. No privacy whatsoever. We asked to move rooms but the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing the staff could do for us. I would not have booked this room if I’d known about the bathroom.
However lots of positives. The staff were great. The breakfasts delicious. Pretty garden. Cool area.
