Ramada by Wyndham Cedar Rapids South

Served the purpose. Thanks to Trip.com my booking was made easy.

When I got to the hotel, there was a $100 deposit I wasn’t told about online booking through Capital one. The room was hot and it was a hot day out, took a while for the AC to cool it down. Sheets had various stains and some blood spots, not the cleanest. Toilet had a problem filling in the reservoir and I was told at 1:50 am just to push the inside plunger down when it happened to let it fill back up, as there weren’t any other rooms available apparently. I also had to physically walk to the front desk as no one answered the phone when I tried to call. The fridge was also not functioning and had a bad smell (discovered at 2am). Shower was ok but had lower water pressure. I wouldn’t trust how clean the room was, would recommend avoiding as this seems to be a theme on the hotel’s web page too.

Nice stay out there with business partner. Lots of restaurant in the area and very clean and calm property. Staff was very helpful and friendly and always ready to help. Our tv stopped working and nagesh came and fix it immediately without delay.

I had to check-out early and the staff were helpful. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was adequate. I meet some friendly guests, and they made the stay worth it. The manager understood my want to check-out early and did not give a hassle. They also contacted me when a parcel arrived for me after I had check out. Great customer service.

This Ramada was quite average in quality. The water pressure in the bathroom was not great, and we could hear our neighbors (which felt weird because this place has MANY rooms spread over three buildings, so why were we placed directly next to someone on a Sunday night when the place was not booked full). Beyond that, it was fine.
