Endroit paisible et reposant après une belle journée de trek. Nous avons eu la chambre avec lit King size et sdb privée, royal ! Je recommande pour ceux qui voudrait faire une étape à San Juan ! Le repas du soir était vraiment agréable avec une soupe chaude et un plat conséquent, top !

The room and bathroom were brand new. Warm duvets for sleeping. A large window with a direct view of the cliffs of the Colca Canyon and a narrow balcony for relaxing after the hike. We had good food, including fresh avocados from the garden and delicious pancakes for breakfast.

Overall a good stay. The hosts were friendly and the food was decent. Unfortunately, there seemed to be an issue with the hot water tank, so we didn’t have hot water during our stay. Aside from that, it was a good value for the price.

Very nice hotel and perfect room with beautiful view, huge bed (very pleasant after the hikes). In addition, the owner is very friendly, accommodating and the food delicious! We can only recommend you to continue your journey after Sangalle to sleep at the Colibri where we had a very good evening!

A little paradise during the trek! A super warm and welcoming arrival! They took great care to please us. In a dazzling environment. The food was super good. The room is really clean and very well appointed, with the large bay window overlooking the mountain that completely enchants us! Thanks again to the owner!

Nos atendió un niño de 12 años. No se nos acercó ningún adulto. La habitación estaba bien pero el servicio no. No pudimos elegir cena. Nos cobraron una cena corriente 30 soles a cada. Las bebidas más caras que en Agus Calientes. Teníamos desayuno incluido y nos dejaron solo agua caliente para hacernos un te o café. No lo recomiendo.

Credit where credit is due: the room was well appointed, clean and the WiFi was excellent. The lodge and restaurant area are set on the hillside and have a beautiful view of the Andean night sky. Unfortunately, the overall experience left some to be desired. I arrived in the afternoon, the place is poorly marked and I had to ask around to get directions. Upon arrival, a child lay on the floor screaming and a slightly older child checked me into my room. The owner was nowhere to be found and there was a confusion about the price and room I had reserved. I found there to be no hot water in the rooms and ended up slipping and falling in the shower. Luckily i missed my head but bruised my bicep on the stone edge. Ouch. Dinner was satisfactory but underwhelming and expensive. The same child cried and screamed most of dinner. Many lodges on the Colca valley have social areas but unfortunately Colibri did not. I’ve heard Gloria’s is cheaper and provides a 3 course dinner. Will check that out if I return to SJC.
