Very pleasant stay

My family and I just stayed here for one night passing through while heading to Florida from Pittsburgh! Overall our stay was amazing from start to end. When we checked in, we got an extremely warm welcome from the woman working the front desk. We were assigned 2 king rooms. One on the 4th floor, the other on the 2nd floor. (Rooms 410 and 231) Both the rooms were immaculate. This hotel had just completed a renovation. They did an amazing job! I have severe allergies and usually react to the new carpet smell and paint. I had no issues here whatsoever. This hotel agreed with my allergies! The location felt very safe and was very convenient to our route. It is basically at the intersection of I-77 and I-26. Downtown Columbia was only about a 12 minute drive. The bed was pretty comfortable! I loved how I sunk into it a little bit, and that it wasn’t overly firm. Overall, I would totally stay here again!! Hands down, this is the nicest hotel in the Columbia area!!

I spent one night in this hotel with family. It is located about 15 minutes from downtown Columbia, in a quiet residential area (so no restaurants or walking attractions nearby). Staff was kind and attentive, rooms are large with standard bedding and bathroom supplies. A/C was a little loud, bathroom toiletries were ok. Breakfast is available in a Starbucks located in the lobby, as well as an evening restaurant (which we did not try). Overall a standard option for travelers to Columbia who want to avoid higher prices in the hotels downtown and around the University campus.

They gave another guest a key to my room. I was asleep at midnight when a loud bang woke me. The security latch near the top of the door was all that prevented this person from entering my room. Their key opened the door, even though I had the deadbolt engaged. All the reassurance the desk clerk gave me was that it was another “wonky” guest and that guest was now safely in their own room. Was that supposed to make ME feel safer!?! I spent the rest of the night with two trash cans balanced on top of a chair in front of the door to be sure I’d know if someone else got the door open - not what I would call a good night’s sleep. I reported the problem to another desk clerk the next morning and was assured the manager would call me - no call. I think guest security should top the list of “amenities “ a hotel is expected to provide.

This was the perfect place to rest after a long day of driving. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent greeting by Nyrica. There are plenty of places to get a bite to eat within a few miles. Parking here is different all handicap spots in front you have to park on the sides or in back. Facility appears brand new and clean. Floors are a little thin person above me. It sounds like they were practicing square dancing at different times. Temperature here is 101 yesterday, and the pool is down for maintenance. That was disappointing. Small but nice Lobby Bar for a nightcap. Hot breakfast and good coffee at the lobby in the morning.
