Hotel Kilmore

Atended a wedding reception and stayed overnight. Meal at reception was first class and the service fantastic. Staff friendly and welcoming in the main. A few comments. Desserts not wonderful - obviously bought in rather than prepared in house. Except for this the food was first class. Bar that we used needs to expand glass choices - not acceptable to receive a gin and tonic in a half pint glass. You need to upgrade your glass choices at least to highball if not to the larger gin glasses. Also had to ask for ice in dark spirits - as someone who served time as a bar person some almost forty years ago I was told to put ice in clear spirits and to ask if required for dark spirits. Bar needed to be wiped more often as you had to be careful where you placed your hands when waiting to be served. As regards room shower needs some repairs as it was difficult to use and shower door needs adjustment.

Outstanding service at Hotel Kilmore! We had our wedding reception here in April 2025. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Cora and all the staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, it made us feel so special! Cora was particularly helpful during the planning stage and met all our requests. On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly. The weather was good so we were able to make use of the outdoor area, the hotel also accommodated a photo dash prior to the meal which was great. Our guests complimented the food, particularly how well the steaks were cooked despite over 250 guests. W couldn’t recommend the Kilmore enough for your wedding venue!

We celebrated our Wedding Day at the Hotel Kilmore and we could not have been happier with our choice of venue. The wedding team at the Hotel Kilmore were absolutely amazing. They were all so helpful. A special thank you to Paul, whose attentiveness and calm presence truly stood out. He ensured everything ran smoothly and made us both feel completely at ease throughout both the planning process and wedding day. The food was another highlight. Every dish was delicious, well presented and served promptly. We are so thankful to everyone at the Hotel Kilmore for making our Wedding Day so special. Myself and my husband got married in the hotel kilmore in May 2025. We could not fault one thing. From the service, food, location and staff it was honestly incredible. We had a large wedding of 360 people but this was no issue for the staff as there was so many amazing staff to help with the flow of service. Would highly recommend any couple to have their wedding in the hotel kilmore. The feedback from guests was also so positive.

We had our wedding reception in Hotel Kilmore, and honestly i can’t say enough how amasing it was.. everything was perfect, we couldn’t fault anything & our guests would say the same they said the meal was fab and the staff were so lovely, nothing was too much bother. As the couple they were absolutely a pleasure to deal with through the whole planning. Thank you so much for everything.

We had our wedding in Hotel Kilmore on 18.04.2025. From our very first visit to the hotel we knew that Hotel Kilmore was where we wanted to get married. The staff were so friendly and professional and the hotel itself is beautiful with really nice grounds. We went with an all inclusive package which included a photographer (choice of two) and a band (choice of 4).Our photographer, Connor from Lunny Imaging and our band Long Time Coming were excellent and fantastic to work with. Our wedding coordinators Cora and Gemma were amazing and were in regular contact with us in the lead up to the wedding. They answered any questions we had and gave great advice in some areas we were unsure about. We arrived the night before the wedding and the staff on the front desk could not have been more helpful and friendly. The bridal party were booked into the bar the night before the wedding where we had a fantastic meal. Our ceremony took place in Hotel Kilmore. The decor was beautiful (cherry blossom trees, lanterns and walkway carpet) which meant we had to do very little ourselves decor wise. The ceremony room was a really lovely size. Our guests really enjoyed the reception after the ceremony - they had prosecco, Heineken and canapes and everything was plentiful. The hotel were so accommodating of all the little touches we wanted to include to make our day feel extra special. The room for our meal was decorated beautifully and the staff were so attentive and friendly during the meal and evening. The food was excellent and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Every element of the day was so well taken care of that we really didn't have to think about anything other than having fun and enjoying our day. Every single staff member that we spoke to was lovely and genuine. We cannot recommend Hotel Kilmore enough as a wedding venue. You will be so well looked after and your guests will have a great day!
