Farnham Estate Golf and Spa Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we have been coming here for the past 4 years to celebrate our anniversary and it never disappoints, the room was beautiful and food delicious. The perfect retreat 🥰

The staff at Farnham looked after us exceptionally well. We were celebrating a 60th wedding anniversary as a family. They accommodated us on the same floor close to the lift as requested. There was a congratulatory message along with prosecco waiting in the rooms. My mother had a amazing massage with a therapist called Erica who was so kind to her. And it was very reasonably priced with a 15% off summer discount. Farnham is one of the nicest places ro stay in Ireland.

Fantastic hotel. We were celebrating an anniversary and the staff made a great effort to acknowledge it. One of the comfiest hotel beds we’ve stayed in. We ate in Maxwell’s restaurant which was 10/10. Stunning view from the rooms and the spa facilities are brilliant. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I had a perfect night away. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been friendlier/more accommodating. We ordered lunch to our room which was prompt and delicious. We used the spa-the massage was one of the best that I’ve had and we thoroughly enjoyed using the infinity pool. We had one of the nicest meals in Cedars restaurant. The steak was cooked to perfection, the service was excellent-attentive but not intrusive. The room was spacious, comfortable and most importantly it was quiet so we had a perfect nights sleep. The stay was topped off with a delicious breakfast. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough!

A luxurious hotel, set in midst of large estate. Relaxing, impressive from the moment you approach via the long driveway. The old hall is incorporated into the new extensions, utilising old existing buildings. Excellent bedrooms, restaurants and spa. Great woodland walks around the private estate and adjoining golf course

My husband and I had a fantastic three night stay at Farnham Estate and Spa and look forward to going back in the future. The staff are all very friendly and efficient, and the spa facilities are amazing. The spa was so relaxing and never felt overcrowded, we loved that there were little rooms where we could go and lay on a bed and just chill out and read. We both also had a massage each whilst there and it was honestly the best massage I have ever had. We ate in all restaurants and the food was fantastic, especially the steak restaurant and my steak was cooked to perfection. After dinner each night we headed to the cellar bar which had a great atmosphere and live music which was fab! The bar staff were very friendly and recommend drinks for us to try. The hotel itself if beautiful, and we enjoyed walking around the gardens and next time my husband plans to play golf as the course looked immaculate. We chose a suite with living room and were quite disappointed in it, and would just book a regular room next time, as the living room area lacked any charm or warmth to it. It was a very plain room with a sofa thrown in it. A rug and some new pictures on the wall would have made it feel more homely and inviting. The room didn't have any drawers for clothes which I found odd which meant we had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcase. Our beside lamp was also broken and parts of the rooms just looked like it could do with a refurbishment to bring it up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel facilities. The bed however was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. We will definitely return to the hotel and would highly recommend it.
