Compliments on a very friendly staff. Food was beyond excellent. Every single item was next level delicious. Views of the mountain are stunning! The pool was welcome on the hot days! Only recommendations would be: 1. A fridge in every room 2. An air con for those hot days. Many thanks for a wonderful weekend!

My wife and I regularly visit this resort. We find it to be by far the best resort for location, food and accommodation. The staff are friendly, and the grounds are pristine with magnificent views of the mountains. Easy access to walks. We visit at least twice a year. Can't beat it for value. love it.

It was a pleasure been at Champagne Castle great mountain view all around , making it a pinnacle to awesome memorable stay. The bedding are always neat, with clean linen and towels,.clean bathrooms n loos just like home. The staff was superb went an extra mile to add bedding for the kids. Chocolate and biscotti was the kids favourite. Chefs were awesome, great menu,& hospitality. Waiters were.great, got to see some familiar faces, it was sad to hear others retired, including the elderly chef. Food was still top-notch. I'm a chef myself I was quiet happy with the menu, and the layout. Mark the new manager, was so friendly and accommodating loved all the new ideas for the place. Game nights was vibrant with Champagne Host, he is always incredible, loves cheering the guest, although we just watched it was fun. You could never get bored there's books for the avid reader. Fishing,tennis, trails, beautiful animals, and a family of geese to keep you entertained 😆.. My son noticed they have quite a height for their own zip-line, and extra tennis court for squash, or outdoor gym 🤣.. You never too old to venture out, or just for deep relaxation Champagne Castle is the pinnacle point. ANEE

The most wonderful holiday. I cant fault you guys from rooms,to cleaners, to chefs and waiters. The meal were great but christmas eve dinner was out of this world. Morgan and the team at the front were also amazing. Job well done. We will see you soon

Location is marvellous! Didn’t like that my bedding had insects! So cleanliness was an issue for me They must reconsider that the self catering guests are on the waiting list the whole time to eat in the restaurant which is always fully booked for the hotel room guests! If I know I would take rooms that can accommodate my family instead of full chalet as food was a struggle for my family in that area For me the staff were not happy at all and I don’t know why ! They were not rude but not happy 🙈 gave me bad vibes 🤐 I don’t know if I will come again to be honest

The hotel is in a very good condition with a great management team who engages with the customers and manage the staff well. The food was divine with good choice of meal options (Apply pie was the best ever!) The room was clean and in good condition. The bed and cushions were great! We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful weekend break away. Great hotel. Large comfortable rooms, exceptionally neat and clean. Buffet meals were outstanding. Very reasonably priced. Great view of the mountains. Staff helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, one of the best in the Central Drakensberg.

Still a wonderful place! Peaceful, quiet, breath taking scenery, incredible walks and amazing hospitality. We felt so spoilt. Meals are a feast. It's impossible to eat everything on offer, especially when it comes to the amazing selection of desserts at both lunchtime and dinner time. There is no shortage of food. Breakfast is soon followed by morning tea and fresh scones, which is then followed by a full lunch. You've no sooner recovered, and you're served afternoon tea and scones (which we often avoided) and then an incredible dinner. There are various lounges. We spent time in the Reg Pearce lounge, which has a card table. Bingo on Friday evening was fun, as was the general knowledge quizz on Saturday evening. It is truly a wonderful place!
