We booked the whole sea view room which is facing the city park and bay. Got a good sea view from window and public patio right out side of our room.
The city placed very loud music at night till very late for there is city park right cross street.
The room is very small after 2 queen beds, only one person can walk through at the time in the room from bed to bathroom.
No hot water kettle in the room, so a bit inconvenient when we want to make hot instant coffee in the room.

The owner/manager gave us great service. He went out of his way to help us book excursions and gave us information on what to do in Cat Ba. And he gave us a fair price on our rooms. Rooms were clean and adequate for the price. Excellent location. Delicious restaurants all around.

We absolutely loved Cat Ba Dream Hotel. Hands down the comfiest beds we have slept in the entire 3 months we have travelled so far! The owner was amazing and was always there to help! We were allowed an early check in and got upgraded to a bigger room which was super! The hotel itself is a little tired but for such a reasonable price and it’s in a fabulous location how can you complain!

Good area, rooms were dirty and they play a very load speaker outside the hotel late at night and early morning easily heard making it very hard to sleep
