Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed and spacious room for the price. The Beefeater restaurant told me they couldn’t accept walk in customers because they were running out of food. This was only 6pm! Very frustrating. I had to order delivery.

Stayed for two nights over the New Year. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. Convenient location for our visit to family. Easy parking. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beefeater restaurant on site where we ate breakfast. Fairly typical of all Premier Inns…we chose this one for its location mainly. Would use again if needed.

The hotel is easy to find on a fairly main road. It has a free on site car park with plenty of spaces. The check in was easy and the desk is manned 24 hours. The room was small and compact but clean and tidy. The walls here are paper thin though and everything your neighbour is saying can be heard, as can using the bathroom facilities. My room had a connecting door so not sure if that made a difference but I don’t think it was just that. Also when they turn their tv on at 5:45am expect to be woken up unless you are a very deep sleeper!! The only bonus to this was I made an early start to miss the traffic on the way home! The toilet roll holder had been taken off of the wall and not replaced so the toilet paper was just on the back of the cistern in a pile and there was no hot water coming through. This was reported the next morning. Based on this stay I wouldn’t stay here again but it was conveniently placed for this trip.

Positives: Accessible, cheaper than average, friendly and easy parking. Had everything needed including extra pillows. Negatives: Smaller room than usual with smaller (Queen) bed and small bathroom reflected by the fact the shower was a corner shower but does the job. Free wifi was very bad (couldn't download an episode of TV).

Very friendly helpful staff, plenty of parking. Room and bathroom were small but clean. Bed adequately comfortable but not king size. Very little noise compared to other Premier Inns. Sat Nav didn’t find it with postcode. Breakfast was the usual fare, but again fine.

Not long visited premier inn Cardiff east for a night stay and was greeted fantastically by a lady called Ann or Annie ,we asked the receptionist how to get to Cardiff on the bus and she pleasantly helped us with times and bus numbers,this was very helpful and appreciated,was directed to our room .the corridors looked like they haven’t been hoovered for some time which was fine .As we got in the bedroom I found a cup which looked like it had been used .Which was annoying but it’s ok ,bathroom facilities was a disgrace ,all hair in the plug hole and sink..see photo attached .anyway as my partner and I went to catch the bus we stood outside the reception and again cigarette ends everywhere on the floor and cigarettes on top of the bins which looks like they haven’t been emptied for some time,myself and partner are not smokers and it just looks appalling ,surely this is a health and safety issue for customers and staff

We've stayed in a lot of PI's and this one is one of the worse. Very small rooms, double bed (not king sized as it normal in Premier Inns). The room had been upgraded - in a way - so a new shower, but in a tiny bathroom, and the work around the shower was substandard to say the least. Poor quality paint work in the bedroom, but a new TV - it's fine to spend money like this on a hotel, but the overall standard of the rooms needs to be much better and they need to look at the hotel overall, not only squeezing in new showers. Some of the lighting in the car park was out of action - this becomes an issue when a key walkway from the car park to the reception is unlit and has ramp on it to allow disabled access from a fire escape, which you can easily trip over. It all speaks of a hotel where no one care very much ! (I have to say all the staff in the hotel itself we met were friendly at all times)

Arrived to the most foul smell in reception and in the corridor to the rooms, absolutely disgusting. My room is so dated the paint is peeling off the walls. Honestly, this place is absolutely terrible. Someone has literally sprayed juice or something all over the walls and it’s not been sorted!!
