Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62 J32)

Amazing spacious room, staff lovely and breakfast had loads of options for food. Great place to stay with family and friends.Didn’t have dinner here but food options looked lovely and not to pricey as well as being able to make a deal of 2-course dinner with an all you can eat breakfast.

It was OK, but not brilliant. Wifi was diabolical in the room - took many attempts to connect, and then sooooooooooooooooo slow (room 306). Unfortunately the mobile signal was no better, so we were stuck. It was fine downstairs in the lounge though. No decaf tea bags either in the room or the hotel, which I thought was poor (I was offered decaf coffee, which isn't quite the same!), and the hot water in the basin didn't work, so I used the bath/shower, which was fine.

Stayed in one of the Premier plus rooms which was very nice. The bed was spot-on. The bathroom was very nice. The facilities in there were very nice. I like the fridge. The TV wasn’t as big as it could’ve been and I felt it should’ve had Netflix facility. We ate in the restaurant at the night time the food was fairly decent and hot And was well presented. There were only four other tables in use in the restaurant and I felt it had absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever no background music playing or nothing. This lack of atmosphere continued in the front seated area so we didn’t bother having a drink. We went out elsewhere for a drink. next morning we had the Premier Inn breakfast which was spot-on as they normally always are. All the stuff are very nice. The one thing that I felt really did at the hotel down I was the outside of the hotel and Car Parking area. Outside of the hotel is looking very tired and parts fixed to deal with the cleanup and lick of paint. The actual car park itself was strewn with loads of litter and could’ve really done with a good tidy up. It just created a really bad first impression when we pulled up, up and it was still in the same state as we left. It just looked really scruffy and not bothered with.
