Lombard House

Sleep in a bus shelter over here! Everything is bad, that’s when you EVENTUALLY get into the place. We were on the doorstep over an hour, with another couple who also couldn’t get in! They don’t respond when you contact them. The place is a dump, nothing works and the bed is more uncomfortable than sleeping on a tortoise shell, the mattress had more lumps! Tv didn’t work lamps without bulbs, mould up the wall. Broken blind. Wardrobes in such a state you couldn’t hang clothes in them, IF they had hanging rails, which they don’t. The back door didn’t appear very safe as the key was missing to lock it. Shocking. Wouldn’t stay again, if it were free!

Where to start, this is probably the worst hotel I have ever slept in. The mattress was beyond belief. The minute you lay down on it you could feel every spring poking into you. Pillows were almost non existent providing no level of support to you head or neck. The blinds were broken and wouldn't raise. There was no hanging space for clothes, in fact zero storage. A little tiny mirror on the wall, virtually no natural light entering the room. The continental breakfast was non existent. Badly lit internal staircase, looked and felt like a flop house for students who wouldn't be too fussy where they stayed. The shower was at least hot, which is a good job as there was no room to move in the cubicle. There appears to be zero staff . The window that overlooked the back alleyway which was covered in scaffolding were filthy. This was in effect a bare room with a really cheap and nasty mattress. Avoid at all cost
