One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

Everything was perfect. The bed was elegant and comfortable. The views of the vineyard and mountains so relaxing. The breakfast and staff were lovely and so helpful - in fact the manager helped us call our rental car company because of an accident that occurred at a previous hotel. He really went out of his way to help. I loved the Turkish bath in the room and our own hot tub overlooking the vineyard. The room was elegant and comfortable with enough closet space to stay a month if you wanted. We stayed two nights in early May so the pool wasn’t very warm yet but I enjoy cool water so it was refreshing while sitting in the sun enjoying the view. One day we enjoyed the lunch and wine tasting at the winery across the street. The wine was very good and the lunch was nicely paired with the tasting. We drove all around Sicily for nearly a month and this was one of the most relaxing and special stays.

Sono rimasta incantata da questo posto, immerso tra i vigneti e lontano dal caos della città. Sono stata insieme al mio ragazzo ed un’altra coppia per due giorni e siamo riusciti a goderci a pieno l’esperienza che la Dimora offre, partendo dall’aperitivo, fino alla degustazione dei buonissimi vini proposti. Vorrei però soffermarmi sulla colazione: una grande varietà di torte sublimi, ma anche salumi, formaggi, uova per chi ama la colazione salata. Lo staff inoltre è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fatti sentire coccolati. Insomma, la fama di cui gode Dimora Cottanera è del tutto motivata, consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questo meraviglioso angolo di natura e bellezza.

Fabulous stay
We had a fabulous night and couple of days at Dimora Cottenera. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are designed to perfection and the staff were so friendly and accommodating! Our suite had an incredible cave shower and outdoor bath. Breakfast is second to none with freshly cooked egg dishes and an array of homemade cakes and pastries along with fantastic coffee! The unmatched views of Mount Etna and the surrounding vineyards make it extra special. Highly recommend a tour of the vineyard too if you have time. A real slice of heaven, we can’t wait to come back!
