B&b in una bella location, proprio sul fiume. Lungo il fiume c’è una bella pista ciclabile in cui poter fare passeggiate o giri in bicicletta! La nostra camera, nonostante fosse la più piccola tra quelle offerte dal b&b con bagno esterno ma privato, era comunque graziosa. Noi abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorantino che offre pochi piatti ma buoni, tra cui il tipico cassoulet. Colazione abbondante e gustosa! Consigliato!

L'endroit est agréable, mais nous avons malheureusement été piqués par des punaises de lit pendant notre séjour. Des boutons alignés, provoquant des démangeaisons, sont apparus dès mon réveil. J'espère que l'hôte en tiendra compte et prendra rapidement les mesures nécessaires pour résoudre ce problème.

Hopefully this review will replace many of the older ones on this site. Sitting on the banks of the Midi Canal just some 6kms from Castelnaudary is this delightfully renovated Lock Keepers House. It is magic here and one can be as busy as you like or as lazy as you like in the peaceful surrounds of Plane trees, slow moving canal boats and comfortable seating outside near the lock. Just a warning: a lot of time is wasted watching the boats going through the lock ! (This is more commonly known as being a Gongoozler!) The accommodation is on the first floor. There are three rooms which are all very comfortable. We had the Lavende Room which was delightful. There is a bar and small cafe/restaurant that serves an excellent food each lunch time and evening. It is advisable to advise the ladies if you are going to require a meal in the evening. And of course breakfast is included in the room rate. The two ladies who run this B&B are delightful and ever so helpful. They have lots of local knowledge and can guide you to some of the many villages and towns in the area. Although they cater for the many bikers who pass this way and usually only stay one night; longer stays are advisable in order to totally relax and take in this peaceful part of the world.

Excellent accueil dans cette chambre d'hôte atypique au bord du canal du midi en face d'une écluse. On y dort très bien et c'est très propre. Des moustiquaires aux fenêtres et au dessus du lit sont prévues car le logement se situe vraiment au bord de l'eau. Les propriétaires sont adorables et accueillantes. Le petit déjeuner est très bon (granola, fruits, yaourts, croissant, pain frais, confiture, café thé jus...)

An oasis after a long day riding the canal. Friendly accomodating staff. With clean and very comfortable rooms. Small bar and restaurant at the rear of the cottage and secure covered shed for the bike. Excellent quiet location beside the canal and lock.

Ns avons passé un excellent séjour au bord du canal du midi. Beaux travaux de restauration du bâtiment. Belle chambre coquelicot avec salle de bain attenante et wc séparé. Nous avions réservé pour le diner (Cassoulet et salade chèvre : Très bien et Glaces succulentes) Nous avons pu ranger nos vélos dans un espace sécurisé. Petit bémol, nous sommes partis vers 7 h 15 le matin, il n’était pas possible de prendre le petit déjeuner, nous n’avons eu que des fruits et un café. Je recommande.

Un gîte très charmant, calme et authentique. Très très bien géré et agréable. A découvrir. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et soigné. Le cassoulet est fondant et de grande qualité. L'accueil y est sincère et tranquille. Le passage des bateaux est pittoresque.

Bonne adresse bien située avec un bon accueil, les chambres sont propres et bien décorées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et l’endroit est reposant. Nous avons appréciés notre nuit à la Bonne Planque et y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très bon accueil à la bonne planque ! Des chambres décorées avec goût et confortables Un lieu reposant au bord du canal du midi belle balade à vélo à faire Il y a aussi un magnifique gîte pour 10 personnes avec petit jardin pour passer un bon moment entre amis Le cassoulet est excellent aussi !
