Old world charm fanatstic food, easy to Mantova
I really love this place. Second time here, just as good as ever. The balance of old world charm with modcons is quite special. Huge old fashioned room in the ancient farm building but modern bathroom attached. The real reason for coming though is dinner - in their beautiful courtyard restaurant. Simple but beautifully done classic Italian food served with charm and attention. Quiet at night. Generous and great value. Faultless. And a wonderful breakfast in the morning

We relied on a blog having never been to Mantua. The context is very beautiful being the restaurant of a farmhouse. Overall polite and professional staff, fast service. The place is rustic but elegant. The colors and furnishings chosen make it a truly pleasant environment, even in their simplicity. The rooms are clean and well-kept. We ate well, the menu is typically with traditional Mantuan dishes, but overall the expense was not balanced. I found €8 a bit excessive for a small portion of vegetable caponata.
