Beautiful property with 5* service and food. The pictures are amazing, but the real thing is even better. We enjoyed the view from our room, the meals, the pool and the spa. Definitely recommended.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Locanda Le Piazze, Castelina in Chianti in Italy. This was our 7th stay there since 2011. We fell in love at first sight with the property which was charming and rustic. In recent years, investment by a new owner has taken Le Piazze to a completely new level of quality on a world-class scale. Accommodation, restaurants and bar, pool, Spa and the landscaped grounds have reached a new high that makes the Locanda a very special place to stay. What stood out for us more than ever this year was the exceptional quality of the staff – covering every aspect of the hotel’s care of guests. Firstly, the staff to guest ratio is high and the consistency and sincerity of individuals in welcoming, engaging and looking after us was exceptional. This made our stay particularly special!

Perfect from start to finish. The setting was beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was excellent - from the great selection for breakfast to the tasting menu at the restaurant using locally sourced ingredients. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back in the future!

This was our third trip (in a row) to Locande and they maintained the same high standards and warm welcome of previous visits. The staff members are the same which is wonderful (indeed, they recognised us notwithstanding the passing of 12 months). The food options are even better this year as the less formal Aperitavola has a larger menu. We ate there several times (and also the excellent and refined Tavola da Guido). The grounds are wonderful of course. My wife and I already miss the lovely breakfasts they served. We hope to return next year.

I had the pleasure of staying at Locanda Le Piazze, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. Nestled among the rolling vineyards and hills of Chianti, the hotel is truly an oasis of peace and elegance. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the beauty and tranquility of the place. The team is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive—always present without being intrusive. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Breakfast on the garden terrace was a daily highlight, with a fantastic selection of fresh, local products. The restaurant is an experience on its own, serving creative Tuscan cuisine that celebrates local flavors. The pool with stunning views over the countryside is pure bliss—a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the region. All in all, Locanda Le Piazze is the ultimate spot for living la dolce vita in Tuscany. I couldn’t recommend it more for anyone seeking authenticity, relaxation, and a touch of luxury. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. I can’t wait to return!

Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend a couples massage at the spa and eating a 5 course chef prepared dinner. Such unique & delicious offerings. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. In beautiful Tuscany wine country but still near enough to other picturesque villages.

Such a beautiful setting with lots of lovely seating areas dotted around the property and incredible views from the pool terrace. Room was comfortable and had everything you would need. Food delicious in both formal and casual restaurants. The pool bar was sadly out of use due to a fire but I think they are rebuilding for next year. This was our second visit after visiting on our honeymoon in 2017 and it still was just as lovely as then.
