We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for a break on our way to Rome from Lucca. The location is excellent, only 10 min from the tiny village of Castellni di Chianti, which offers cute restaurants and bars and souvenier shopping. The hotel itself is charming and picturesque with a large and very comfortable pool to while away any leisure hours in the sun. Our room was a basic room, but more than adequate in terms of size and comfort. Wifi worked fine. The highlight of our stay was our meal served in the outsid dining room. The food was exquisite: Ravioli w/tartufi and Pappardelle with Cinguale ragu... accompanied by an excellent Chianti from the magnificent and complete wine offerings. I would most heartily recommend this hotel for a short or long stay... we visit Italy regularly and will add this as a regular stop along the way to enjoy the sites of Tuscany. Driving to San Gimignano or Siena is within 1 hr -- not too long nor too short.

This hotel was DREAMY!! It was one of my favorite places we’ve EVER stayed. It’s situated in the beautiful countryside of Chianti in Tuscany. Our room was spacious, clean and sooo charming. The bed was so comfortable and the air conditioning worked so well. We slept so well. We were able to enjoy the beautiful pool and dinner was amazing!! It was so nice to stay there for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was also truly amazing; so many choices of what to eat and everything was delicious. The service was amazing as well. All the servers in the restaurant, and the lady who helped us at the front desk were all incredibly Kind and helpful, and welcoming. And also hard-working! We were just here for a quick stop on our way through, but I truly did not want to leave! If you are looking for an amazing hotel and peaceful and enjoyable getaway, this is your place!

Fantastic property to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Italian countryside. Hilltop location provides for wonderful views and fantastic sunsets. The outdoor pool is large and well kept. Food was all locally sourced and was prepared to perfection. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor dinner as the sun sets .
