The hotel was lovely and rustic, fantastic views over the Tuscan countryside and a short walk to the village where we enjoyed dinner one night and a wine tasting (from their own vines) the next. Well placed too for a trip to Florence and a relax by the pool was an added bonus.

Siamo un gruppo di 12 pedalatori dell'Università di Firenze (Dipartimento DAGRI) impegnati in un viaggio da Firenze a Roma e abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare all’Hotel Salivolpi durante una delle nostre tappe. Il posto è semplicemente meraviglioso: immerso nel verde delle colline del Chianti, con una bellissima piscina perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata in bicicletta. Gli alloggi sono curatissimi, accoglienti e dotati di ogni comfort. La colazione è ottima, ricca e gustosa, e il personale è stato sempre gentilissimo e disponibile. La posizione è ideale, a due passi dal centro di Castellina, ma allo stesso tempo in un’oasi di tranquillità. Consigliatissimo sia per chi viaggia in bici che per chi cerca relax e bellezza.

A lovely hotel with a great location and a beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast in the garden in the morning. The rooms are tidy but not very large. The bathroom is clean but quite small. The staff is very friendly and willing to provide a lot of information. A great place to explore the beautiful Chianti region.
