Podere 1384

We had lunch in this location, for a special celebration, a group of 6 people, and all the food was excellent. Friendly manager and staff, with amazing view and facilities. One of the girls, Roxana, was extremly kind and willing to make us feel welcome. Congratulations to the entire management for this concept.

Had a really wonderful and special experience at Podere 1384. Staff is very welcoming and hospitable and made the experience all that much better. Loved the restaurant, Il Sorbo, and the personalized meals we had. Rooms were spacious and well-thought-out, and the property overall is lovely and relaxing. Highly recommend!

“Having arrived in such a place, how does one ever leave?” I returned to this question again and again throughout a 3-day stay at Podere 1384, a spectacular hotel in a restored 14th century borgo in Chianti. Sitting on a hilltop overlooking a valley lined with vineyards and dotted with ancient farmhouses and Cypress trees. It is a land of mesmerizing stillness, it’s soundtrack the soothing sound of birdsong, which accompanied us from breakfast under the cherry trees until dusk. Every space has been carefully curated for a truly singular sensory experience - gorgeous design which seamlessly transitions between the indoor and the outdoor, exotic scents and tastes, highlighting local products – Dr Vranjes Firenze fragrances, acqua di Toscana beverages, mint and verbena from the hotel gardens. The hospitality was second to none. We were greeted on arrival by Roxanna, who insisted we sit and enjoy a drink in the beautiful surrounds before taking our bags to our room. There we found a handwritten, personalized note from the Manager, Andrea Pieri, which genially welcomed us as friends rather than first-time guests. Throughout our stay we felt that Andrea and his team took genuine delight in providing us with a truly one-of-a-kind vacation. We are already planning our return.

With the stunning view of Tuscany and the warm hospitality of Andrea and his team, this birthday experience with my dear friends, Laura and Vanessa was simply incredible! We were able to experience the magic of the region via Andrea. Grazille ! We had rooms 4 and 5 each designed with a unique character. The welcome drink, the rstaurant, the breakfast and many experiences of this beautiful Podere 1384 exceeded our expectations. Yes,Andrea and team we will return!!!

Can say enough good things. Very quiet and serene place with attentive and kind staff. Restaurant was superb with great wines from the region.everyone is prepared for any request and delivered 5 stars every time. Grazie Mille to Andrea, Roxanna, Gemma and the entire team. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived on a stormy night,we knew this place was special. we were greeted at our car with umbrellas, and the warm hospitality bean immediately. The manager Andrea , not only welcomes us but also made reservations for us at alocal restaurant , where we had a delicious meal. The next morning , we woke to realise we had arrived in paradise the 360-degree views were breathtaking, and the breakfast was exceptional. Fresh fruit picked from their own trees with homemade pastries and excellent coffee made for a perfect start to the day. Our rooms were stocked with fresh fruit, cookies and a free min bar filled with local artisan soft drinks and beer. We stayed in suite#4 which was beautifully decorated and spacious with a luxurious bathtub in the room. My sister stayed in suite #5 which had a fireplace and an even more stunning view.The rooms were cleaned daily with care and attention to detail. Yoga by the pool with views of the Tuscan hills, was a highlight of our stay. The hotel provided mats from their gym and the serene atmosphere made for a perfect practice. For my birthday dinner we dined at the hotels restaurant and it was flawless . the pastry chef made a decadent chocolate cake. The staff's attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our needs throughout our four night stay made it feel like we were guests at a friend's villa. Andrea, the general manager , was both professional and charming,and his warmthb was echoed by the entire staff. I truly never wanted to leaveand can't wait to return. This is a place where luxury meets geniune hospitality, and every moment feels like a dream
