We only stayed for a night (although we spend two full days there) but nothing was at fault. The hotel grounds are great. Lots of space, ample swimming pool and terrace to enjoy a drink, meal, or just relax. Places to sit everywhere. Everyone in the staff was friendly, attentive, charming. And the food was so nice. Both breakfast and the restaurant were great. We got upgraded to a nice room with a conservatory, we almost didn't want to leave :-) What can I say, if we have the opportunity, we'll come back

First class hotel all round. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food was above excellent, well prepared and very tasty. Staff went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Credit to them all. Grounds are well kept and lovely to walk around. The swimming pool looked top notch too. I really enjoyed my stay thank you.

The std bedroom was nice & spacious, with good size double bed & a settee. Everything lovely & clean, with great shower. Although we had intended trying other restaurants we ate at the hotel each of our 7 nights. firstly because we had a really busy day’s & didn’t get back till around 6.30 ( no time to look for alternatives). But more importantly the selection & quality of food was really first class. We ate different food each night. Plus the staff were very friendly & really nice.

It would be very hard to fault this hotel, from our experience. The rooms, the hotel facilities, the staff and the restaurant food were all great. Very rare to find such helpful staff who also seemed to enjoy providing good service. Special thanks to Sofia who recommended the ideal rooms for us. We walked and used the buses. Good bus stop less than 10 mins walk from hotel with a 15 min frequency to either St Peter Port or to Cobo Bay on the other side of the island. Yes, occasionally there are no pavements for short stretches but generally there are.

What a lovely hotel from the moment we walked in to the moment we left nothing was to much trouble.All the staff were so friendly and always had a smile on their faces.our room (11)was comfy clean and well stocked with everything we needed by the house keeping staff.We ate twice in the restaurant the food was delicious and I think the breakfast was the best I'd had in any hotel I had stayed in.The gardens and the terrace were so lovely to sit in for a drink and to read a book.We are already thinking about our next trip to Guernsey and we will definitely be staying at the Friquet !

Excellent hotel with large terrace, large garden, swimming pool and excellent parking. Cozy bedroom with good beds, large bathroom with toilet. Excellent breakfast, good restaurant with an extensive menu and reasonably priced. Staff was superb, excelled in hospitality, was relaxed and no effort was too much, really gave you the feeling of being a "guest". Price/quality on the high side.
