Au Petit Chez Soi

Very small hostel, clean, 2 kitchen areas, 2 bath rooms, small garden with table, easy to reach from the train station, just one bus to the city centre, then 5-10 minutes walk, close to the beach, best town to stay to do the claques hike. clear instruction for checking in. the owner would not let me keep my luggage, she told me I have to be out by 10 with all my things, they don't let you use common parts if you ware waiting for a train or bus or doing something during the day in town, they want you out of the premises by 10 am with all your things even if you are not using the bed. First time I have seen this in any accommodation after travelling 45 countries and 100s of town and cities across the world. I was not impress about this, I had only small luggage which could of been easily kept during the day. I would look for an alternative option, although very busy in this small town, but seen other hostels with swimming pool for similar price.

The couple who owned it was lovely and preoccupied with their guests. In general, everything was close as Cassis is a small town. The two things we didn't like was that the church was just behind the hostel and the bell sounded every 30 minutes day/night. And secondly, as the name says it was tiny. I was pretty much as tall as the doors ( I am 1, 77 tall). Besides that, all good, and they give you fresh breakfast every day. Cheap as well.
