Ramkota Hotel - Casper

My visit was amazing. We had a view over the pool. Which was an awesome set up. My kids and I enjoyed staying there. The complimentary breakfast was bomb and the lady who ran was the sweetest lady. I would definitely stay there again.

There wasn't much there wasn't much we enjoyed about our stay. Overall, the rooms are uncomfortable and dirty, the customer service was decent at best, and the price was far too high for the return. The price is comparable to a Hilton Garden or Residence Inn with non of the finishes. If you need a budget hotel, Quality Inn and Hampton Inn are next door and will give you the same thing for $100 less. I gave more details about my review below, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel shows its age starting with the chipped, paintless parking lot and reminds you every step of the way through that halls and stays with you into your room. The front desk person didn't get the second room checked in, and we had to have someone vacuum the room because the floor was still dirty. We continually had a issue with our keys, and required four trips to get keys that continually worked. The desk gave me a "free drink" at the bar. The bar was advertising strawberry or peach Moscow mule's for the signature cocktail. The bar tender couldn't make a lemon drop martini, margaritas (of any flavor), or a strawberry or peach mule. I ended up tipping her just to get away from the awkward tension of being served a mystery mule. The pool was fun for my small children, and the free breakfast was freeish. By "freeish" I mean, the only cost was sitting through microwaved sausage and stale eggs.

Special thanks to Christine, who went above-and-beyond with breakfast service at Remington's. I'd been told yogurt was on the daily buffet, but she explained that it wasn't. However, when she saw that I was disappointed, she somehow managed to find some for me. It's caring staff like Christine that will make me return.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Booked a room with 2 queen beds in January for a 2 night stay in April. Called the hotel to confirm my reservation on March 31st and correct a couple of errors the hotel had on my reservation. Called again on April 2nd to make sure everything was correct and was told they had me down for 2 queen beds for 2 nights. Arrived at the hotel at 6:50 to check in and was asked if I needed 2 beds to which I replied yes I booked a room for 4 people. I was then told that they didn't have any rooms with 2 beds available and they could put me in a room with 1 king bed and would call me to move me for the 2nd night to a room with 2 queen beds. I had no choice but to accept this since there were volleyball & wrestling tournaments in town and no other rooms available. At 2 pm the 2nd day I went to the front desk to find out when they were going to move us and was told that none of the 2 queen rooms that were available had been cleaned yet and to come back at 4. I went back at 4 and after checking with the manager the front desk employee said he was moving me to 607 and then he started typing in his computer and after a couple of minutes told me they didn't have any rooms with 2 queen beds available and that I had to stay in the room with 1 king bed again. I do not understand how a hotel can sell the room you reserved to someone else once, let alone 2 nights in a row. Don't even get me started about how clean, or rather not clean the room was. Terrible sound insulation. Noisy kids up stairs and in the hall ways both nights. Also, the shower head was below my chin (I am 6' 1"). Overall this hotel is awful. Zero stars. DO NOT RECCOMEND!
