I travelled over to this magnificent hotel 1 day after the Lisbon and Cascais storms but this did not in any way detract from an amazing stay full of magnificent memories. Fantastic breakfast and some amazing cocktails. I had a lovely fish meal at the Montemar restaurant and the hotel provides a shuttle service there. All the staff were so friendly and it was so great to catch up with Luiza who I have known for so many years from the days at the Pestana palace in Lisbon. I am already planning to travel back later this year and please go ahead and visit when you have the chance. David.

This is a great hotel the rooms are very clean, staff are friendly and helpful organized bikes for our children, and a suprize for ones birthday. The breakfast staff are very professional and lots of food choices. The park outside is great for children. The spa is also clean and perfect. We loved this hotel and will definitely return. We stayed at the Onyria Marinha as part of a golf package, and weren't expecting too much as some golf hotels can be 'functional'. This hotel is anything but. From the minute we arrived and were greeted by the lovely reception team, we knew it was going to be special. The bedrooms are spacious, with a huge bathroom and separate shower. Lovely terrace which overlooked the gardens and plenty of wardrobe space. There is a spa with its own pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc and a separate pool area a couple of minutes walk away. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The restaurant was very good. There was a lot of choice at breakfast, and we never had to wait for coffee or tea. We also ate there in the evening. Wonderful varied menu. There is also a comfortable bar area. Every member of staff we met was polite, friendly and helpful. It was a joy to stay there. The hotel runs a shuttle to Monte Mar - their restaurant by the coast. Taxi's into Cascais are no more than 10 euros each way. We did walk in one day which was about an hour's stroll along the coast. Definitely recommended, as the path takes you into the town via the marina, with lovely views.

That we return each year from New Zealand speaks volumes for this exquisite hideaway in Cascais. We have reached the point where we can't imagine a northern summer without being there. The location is perfect being close to Cascais and the beaches, but hidden away in a quiet area amongst the trees. The boutique hotel is elegant, the villas roomy, well serviced and equipped and the food delicious. Everything is spotlessly clean and manicured. But, the highlights are the staff who are endlessly helpful, friendly, assured and professional. They are real gems and nothing was too much trouble. My wife would also like to mention the superb laundry service with a four hour turnaround as standard! We will be back.

This was our second stay at Onyria. Absolutely love this property and the people! Wonderful breakfast with a great pool for families. The hotel is beautifully designed and landscaped. But what stands out most is the staff: caring, helpful nature, attentive. The hospitality is simply top-notch. From the front desk (lead by Luiza; and a support team of Bibiana, Catia, Sinao and others) to the restaurant team, we were comfortable...felt at home.
