Arrived for a weeks stay unsure what to expect. The hotel is adorable. Very central. It’s clean and the pool area although not huge, allowed me to do my morning swim. It was uncrowded and no rush for a sunbed as plenty available. All staff were just so friendly including Vanessa on reception and even the cleaners went out of their way to chat to you. It was my birthday and everyone wished me happy returns and I was given a card and bottle of cava in my room Beds were big with lovely soft pillows. Breakfast was great, a lovely buffet and the gentleman in charge , Virgolino very welcoming. He clearly takes pride in his job. I only wish we had gone for a beach facing room with a balcony so before bed we could have a night cap watching all the hustle bustle. The sky bar is worth a trip with live music although a bit pricey. As for noise, yes it’s busy but entertain the square usually finished by midnight. For those who complain… you are on holiday after all!

Cucaracha en las cortinas del baño de gran tamaño. Bañera deteriorada que no merece ni un hotel de 1 estrellas, precios excesivos y personal con poca cintura ante situación desagradable de encontrarte una cucaracha en la ducha, y más pendientes de cobrar extras que de contentar al cliente. Mal!

Right in the central plaza, this is a fine tourist class hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable (wish they would add bottle openers). Breakfast included in our rate was very good and staff were very friendly. Locations is great with some fun restaurants nearby.

The staff at the Hotel Carvoeiro Plaza, were amazing, very happy to help and always with a smile, in reception, the restaurant, the 360 Bar, by the Pool, the Cleaners. The manager even drove us to the airport. The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the beach, bars, restaurants everything was perfect for our stay. I would especially like to thank Catia, who arranged our stay and was the epitome of what a host should be. We will definitely be returning

É um hotel que cumpre com o que você espera de um hotel de praia. Fica perto da praia, os quartos são limpos, o ar condicionado é gelado, o hotel em si é bom. O ponto mais positivo com certeza foi o café da manhã, super completo, ótimo! O ponto mais negativo foi, ele não é tão novo, então os quartos não tem uma exaustão no banheiro tão boa.

I had a wonderful experience at the Carvoreiro Plaza. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and the beds and pillows were the most comfortable ones I have experienced in a while (mind you I had recently stayed at the Four Seasons in the US). I enjoyed the proximity to the beach (2 min walk), access to all kinds of shops and restaurants. We had a rental car and the hotel offered private parking, so convenient. We enjoyed the breakfast spread and the ice cream shop in the lobby. A bit noisy at night, but cmon, we were on vacation!!!! The atmosphere was amazing.

Perfect location within seconds from the sand. So many dining options around the hotel, even an ice cream shop in the lobby area! Only complaint was waiting a while for a receptionist when trying to check-out. But the rest of the stay staff/receptionist was available and helpful. Loved the air conditioning and remote with it for the hot climate here. Not too jazzed about the shower situation as our room had a glass “wall” that didn’t close the shower off so water got everywhere, water pressure and heated flooring was great though! Would definitely stay here again, I love Carvoeiro!
