Overall: Not recommended.
Room: The layout and facilities are not necessarily suitable for Chinese people. Basically, you have to sleep in various pillars, like a **. The bathroom requires stairs to the corner room. The facilities are simple, and there is no place to open the washbasin. The wifi is relatively poor, and there will be no signal at all.
Price: The price of more than 1,000 should be the price of the layered contract. The actual price given by the store to the supplier is 600. It feels that Ctrip booking is expensive.

Zuerst die Aussicht ist wirklich toll und auch das Personal sehr sehr nett. Allerdings die Damen und der ältere Herr am Empfang sehr unfreundlich. Das Hotel hat angeblich 5 Sterne, diese empfinden wir als absolut übertrieben. Man musste seine Koffer selbst vom Wagen ins Hotel wuchten und vom Zimmer die Treppe hoch wieder zur Rezeption. Sorry aber das geht gar nicht. Das Frühstück ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel leider ein Witz. Einen Cappuccino oder paar Ruhreier, Omelett oder ähnliches kostet hier alles extra. Das Dinner haben wir nicht probiert. Daher keine Aussage dazu. Die Zimmer sind ansich schön allerdings so hellhörig das man vor allem zum Morgen hin Türen knallen hörte, wie die Leute die Treppe hoch und runter liefen oder das Personal morgens den Pool Bereich fegte. Leider ist es in die Jahre gekommen. Nachdem dann an einem Nachmittag einer der Räume zur Baustelle umfunktioniert wurde ist mir dann der Kragen geplatzt. Aber sei es drum! Fazit ein Hotel das die 5 Sterne wirklich und ganz ehrlich überhaupt nicht verdient hat. Toll gelegen ergibt bei mir noch keine 5 Sterne da gehört mehr dazu. Es gibt in Sidi Hotels mit 4 Sternen die besser sind und das meine ich nicht böse. Ah so der Reception Manager war super nett und extrem hilfsbereit, aber auch er kann nichts ändern wenn die Besitzer es so schleifen lassen. Sehr schade!

We did not stay there, but had some drinks at their terrace which had a great view of the sea. It was the best service we had in Tunis. Fast, friendly and efficient. Excellent variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Serenity with a view.

Excellent hôtel et excellente implantation ainsi qu'un personnel exceptionnel et compétent dans tous les services.Toutefois, la Direction devrait être plus stricte sur les horaires de nettoyage des piscines et d'amenagement. Nous recommandons aussi à l'hôtel de prévoir un buffet pour le petit-déjeuner digne d'un 5*.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but do yourself a favor and book any other hotel nearby. This hotel came recommended from a local friend for the location. We stayed 4 nights - excited for the location and upgraded to their top suite. Unfortunately, we ran into problems almost every day. 2 of the 4 nights our AC did not blow cold air - in 40C weather. Woke up completely drenched in the middle of the night. They kept sending someone to “fix” it but nothing changed. Several arguments, 5 calls to the front desk, and 3 days later, they finally believed us and sent a real HVAC tech to fix the problem. The last day/night an electric problem caused all of our outlets to stop working in the room. The towel warmer shocked us. On top of it all, the hot water stopped working. We’re usually easy travelers and aren’t phased by minor discomforts. But for the amount of money paid ($400USD/night) and this being a 5 star hotel - it was totally unacceptable. The hotel manager spoke to us at check-out and proceeded to give us a lecture on how the AC works (even though there was clearly an issue and they sent an HVAC tech from the nearby town to fix it and admitted there was an issue). She grudgingly ended up giving us 10% off our bill and promised us a discount at our next stay. Sorry, this will be the first and LAST time we stay here!
