Para una salida de escape de la rutina express por lo que tenia que ser relativamente cerca, pese a ciertos comentarios que vimos por acá, nos llamaba la atención y decidimos ir sin mucha expectativa; y el lugar nos sorprendió desde que llegamos, el entorno natural es bellísimo, bordeando el Rio Perlas con full y variada vegetación, las instalaciones en general están renovadas y bien cuidadas, la habitación que nos toco con una vista muy linda, la cama era King lo que junto con el sonido del rio y la lluvia fue de lo mejor para dormir delicioso; y como la idea es desconectarse para un verdadero descanso, la ausencia de señal y tv más bien ayudo con el objetivo; hay 2 piscinas una temperada y la termal la que disfrutamos al máximo. La atención del personal, tanto del hotel como en el restaurant destacan por el esmero y empeño en brindar un excelente servicio, por lo que definitivamente nos encanto este lugar que esperamos se mantenga así o cada vez mejor y visitarlos pronto nuevamente, gracias a que otro punto a favor , es que se encuentra apenas una hora y 15 min de San José. Definitivamente 100% recomendado para quienes aman el relax con full conexión con la naturaleza.

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra experiencia en Río Perlas. Fuimos con un grupo de adulto mayor y niños. Los jardines espectaculares, los cuartos muy cómodos y limpios, muy bien servicio en el restaurante y el bar. Fuimos a explorar la catarata, los senderos, y una piscina privada. Very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the room was not ready at the designated check-in time. The receptionist consistently showed a complete lack of customer service and maintained a dismissive attitude (like "not my business"), repeatedly telling us she couldn’t provide an estimated time for when the room would be ready. When we were finally given access to the room, it was dirty and had an unpleasant odor. We asked to speak with the manager, but were told multiple times over the course of four hours that she was unavailable. Ultimately, we decided to leave. Additionally, the pool were so dirty and stagnant water due the lot of "day pass people" even when the hotel was full occupancy, what for me is a mistake. Finally a manager with "no time for the guest" is a terrible mistake. Quite the opisite the restaurant client service and food are the best of the hotel.

El servicio es pésimo, cero interés por un buen servicio al cliente, las habitaciones emiten malos olores y varios elementos en el baño en mal estado. No entregan paños, en el restaurante se debe de esperar más de una hora para que le sirvan la orden y se debe de pedir las bebidas en varias ocasiones para que las lleven a la mesa, definitivamente no volvería a ir.

This place is a total enigma. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are big and beautiful. It looks like they put a ton of money into it. But oh how they miss the details! In a few short hours we experienced the following: our order of 2 ceviches and two beers took 15 minutes to come despite there being only 4 other people in the restaurant. And it was wrong and had to go back. The pool attendant had the personality of a prison guard. Then the power went out. Then when it came back on the coffee machine didn’t function. I had arranged in advance a meeting with the manager Paola about an excellent business opportunity with our significant hiking association that could bring hundreds of guests to her hotel, and she stood up 2 minutes into the conversation while I was in mid sentence to take a call and left me sitting there for 15 minutes and never returned. Not so much as an “excuse me, but…”. Nothing. Zilch. I walked out thankful that I got to witness all of this to steer our organization away from here! What a shame!
