Fraudulent use of the reservation site (to avoid paying fees and to avoid negative reviews), forgetting to give change, green swimming pool, unusable. Unfriendly maid. We didn't trust the hotel managers and left early for a hotel with a real swimming pool. The other hotel guest I met had the same experience of questionable management.

Casa Torices Real was an amazing place to spend my first nights in Columbia. It's right between the airport and the walled city and walkable to either although I'd definitely recommend a taxi or bus if it's at all hot out. There are markets very close by and a kitchenette near the pool so you can cook if you need/want to. Diana, Jesus and John were great hosts and very friendly and helpful for getting around and all other things. There was a good international vibe and met some great folks while staying there!
