The first room I stayed in had a leak in the air conditioner in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the suitcases were placed far away, otherwise they would have been soaked. The room was small, but the breakfast was OK. After I reported the leak, they responded quickly and helped me change the room immediately.

La calidez de las personas. La limpieza del lugar . Una super cama y el tamaño del televisor. Destaco tambien la calidez de la camarera Ladys.La vista maravillosa de la terraza con su pileta, el desayuno muy completo. Las más ricas y crocantes arepas las comi ,(las hay dulces y saladas) en el hotel.

La perfection existe, l'accueil, le service, l'emplacement proche de la vieille ville et du quartier Getsemani. Le roof top avec la piscine à débordement sur le toit est à coupler le souffle. Toute la famille a adoré notre séjour.

El hotel tiene una localización inmejorable. En el barrio Getsemaní, y a 5 minutos De la Torre del Reloj andando. Un servicio impecable, siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar al huésped. Gran trato en especial recibido por Alfonso, el cual me recomendó varios sitios por la ciudad para visitar y comer. 100% recomendable.

The GHL Arsenal Hotel is an outstanding place, located in the very heart of Cartagena. It offers very attentive, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. You are welcome to address the personnel by their first name, and they’ll gladly call you by your first name too). The rooms are impeccably clean and tidy. The view from the roof top bar and pool - breathtaking. We can’t wait coming back to Cartagena and staying at the Arsenal.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Gaaf zwembad op het dak met bar. Kamers top en ontbijt was prima. Genoeg keuze. Het hotel ligt vlakbij het oude centrum en je stapt zo de gezellige straten van Getsemani in. Erg genoten op deze locatie.

The good about the hotel: Great helpful staff. Room service is also great. Now the bad: My problem was with the concierge who booked a tour for us. Knowing that I did not speak Spanish, booked us with a Spanish tour who spoke no english. I requested a good boat for the tour, well the boat was overloaded and during rough sea, you or someone may land on you. My friend who was staying at a different hotel also booked and concierge made it like a couple tour and at the island, provided us a single sun bed. After complaining, the issue got resolved. The tour was to multiple islands, but we just went to one. From a 5 star hotel, I expected their concierge to book us a better tour. The cost was $100 each and the next day I had to book another and used Viator. Viator tour was $70 and took us to 4 islands. Also the boat was much better as we had our own seats. The hotel arranged tour messed us up not only the cost but also lost a day that we did not fully enjoy.
