Pao Pao Hotel & Beach Club

Lugar lindo, calmo mas com muita coisa a melhorar. Se prepare para pagar 370.000 + 34.000 de imposto para chegar, deitar almoçar (comida é boa) e sair! Não há absolutamente nada para fazer (nem stand up paddle, caiaque, snorkel, nada!). Toalhas são alugadas e não há sequer água durante a refeição. Me colocaram numa cama que não tem como tomar sol. Perguntei se poderia deitar em alguma outra espreguiçadeira e disseram que não. Deitei assim mesmo! Rsrs. Tem cabimento vir para a praia e não poder tomar sol?! Estou fazendo essa avaliação diretamente da ilha. Ah, mais um detalhe: tem consumação mínima de 50.000 pesos

Nos hospedamos 2 noches en el hotel y fue todo espectacular! El personal fue muy amable y super atento para todo lo que necesitamos. La habitación con la vista al mar fue una gran elección! La verdad que desde que llegamos nos sentimos muy cómodos y pudimos disfrutar de una increíble playa. Al quedarnos a dormir vimos un atardecer hermoso, que seguro no nos vamos a olvidar! Gracias a todo el personal por su amabilidad! El hotel tiene la combinación perfecta de playa, comodidades y comida riquísima para hacer que la estadía sea única.

Although the place is very nice and the service was good, the experience was terrible. We booked a day pass directly with the hotel, used the chat to coordinate and pay, everything was very expeditious. The instructions were to be at the La Bodeguita dock between 7:20 and 8:20 hrs. We arrived at around 7:45 hrs and at the gate we were assigned to, there was a long line that was moving very slowly. After lining up and entering the dock at around 8:15 hrs, they told us that the boat would be leaving. It left at 9:40 hrs and in between they only gave excuses, that they were settling in, that they were already coming, etc. The trip lasts 1 hour and the return is at 15 hrs, so we asked for a refund since we would arrive at approximately 10:40. We contacted the hotel via chat, the same one where we bought the passes as soon as we had the problem. Well, nobody wanted to take responsibility and they just told us to go directly to the hotel, so we decided to go up at the risk of no one answering later. We arrived at about 11 am, the place was very nice, welcome cocktail, they gave us the sun loungers that we paid for (extra for the first row) and they gave us the lunch tickets and it was between 12:30 and 13:30 hrs. At 12:30 hrs we were in the dining room, they took our tickets and they said the dishes were coming... 13:10 hrs the dishes arrived... At 14:30 they asked to get out of the water, pay the bill and get ready. The departure was punctually at 15 hrs. Back in Cartagena, we are still waiting for them to answer the chat...

It is a small island for day trips. There are also 6 beautiful rooms in the 4-5 star category. Everything is newly furnished and in top condition. During the day there is a DJ playing super cool chill and party music. There is snorkeling equipment, paddleboards and a whirlpool. But in the evening you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet. Recommended for 2-3 nights.
