I’m a Marriott road warrior with thousands of nights under my belt and I’m a picky traveler, and this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. On the outside, it’s a pretty typical looking 1970s airport Marriott. It’s on a beautiful lake and within sight of the airport (but zero airport noise). On the inside, it’s basically a brand new hotel. Finally, a proper M Club that’s open 24/7 with good snacks and drinks, evening hors d’oeuvres and drinks and a nice breakfast…with friendly staff to help. So many owners have cut corners on this but this property does it right! My room was fresh and modern, totally renovated, had a great bathroom, comfy bed, tons of outlets and USB plugs, and was totally quiet. Zero issues at all, really great room. The bar is open late, serves food late, and has terrific service. Overall, exactly what a full service Marriott should be these days. Can’t wait to come back.

Only stayed one night. The bar staff were excellent. Check-in and check-out were also great with lots of helpful tips. My room was clean and well appointed but very, very dark even with all available lights on. Brighter room would have been 5 stars.
