Die Aussicht ist gut. Die Zimmer waren okay, die Dusche hat leider fast garnicht funktioniert. Auch auf Reklamation meinten die Betreiber, dass das öfter so sei, dass der Wasserdruck so niedrig ist und deshalb fast kein Wasser kommt. Beim Frühstück ca. 30 Minuten auf den Kaffee gewartet und 45 Minuten bis zum Frühstück selbst. Leider eher ein FLOP gewesen.

Comment ce lodge a t-il obtenu cette note Google ?? Que dire… Éloigné des plages et des restaurants, compter 15 à 20 minutes pour avoir une vue certes dégagée mais souvent brumeuse. Chambres petites et non entretenues Logement peu propre, pas de confort et peu d équipement (pas de cafetière ni de réfrigérateur) Propriétaire malhonnête qui ne se remet pas en question et renie toute remarque Non adapté pour les enfants La piscine paraît plus grande sur les photos qu en réalité Jardin pas entretenu Changement de cuisinier, les prestations ne sont pas à l attendu.

The good things: the place is fantastic, with a very nice view; the price is reasonable The bad things: the road to get there is rough, you’ll better have a 4x4, we didn’t, but this was the dry season and that was still ok, in the wet season, it’s maybe another story. When we arrived, at 5pm, our room was not yet ready, and our host offered us a drink, as if it was a welcome drink, and so we have been surprised to find it on the final bill. Speaking of the bill, the exchange rate from CRC to USD was more than 10% above the official rate. Our room was nice (not the most comfortable beds however), but not so well maintained, a lot of stuff (handles, outlets and so on) was hanging on the wall (or not anymore) just by the last screw. The breakfast was disappointing, nearly no local fruits, and sometime, not even milk…

We very spontaneously decided to visit Samara and found this amazing place by accident. I contacted Laura the owner via WhatsApp and had a reply within minutes. She was very responsive, kind and very helpful. We confirmed our stay for two nights and arrived only a couple of hours later. We were greeted by a fabulous team, everyone was super kind and welcoming. Our room was already ready, even though there was not much time to prepare it. We had a bungalow with a balcony and sea view, it was simply stunning! We received great recommendations what to do in the area and the sunset tour we booked was great. In the evening, we relaxed at the bar, had some drinks and freshly made food from the own kitchen. In the morning, we also received a fresh breakfast with bread, jam, egg, bacon and a lot of fresh fruits. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Très bel hôtel, situé en hauteur ce qui permet d’avoir une vue magnifique au levé du soleil, la nature y est luxuriante et vous sera réveillé grâce aux bruits des oiseaux et des singes. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien aménagées, la literie est très bien également ! Le linge sent bon ! Nous avons aussi mangé sur place,le cuisinier cuisine très bien nous nous sommes régalés, les prix sont à la hauteur de la qualité ! Laura est une hôte très chaleureuse et généreuse qui prend du temps avec chacun de ses clients. Elle répondra à toutes vos interrogations et se mettra en 4 pour vous trouver des solutions ou vous guider dans votre voyage ! Hugo son assistant est extrêmement sympathique, nous avons beaucoup ri et fortement apprécié sa présence! Nous avons plus appris en 2 jours avec eux sur le Costa Rica, les différents animaux, la flore, les lieux à visiter que dans tout le reste du voyage. Ses animaux (chiens, chats, cochon) Bruce, Bella, Bentley et Brad sont extrêmement sociables et apporteront une ambiance familiale et attendrissante à votre séjour ! Je vous recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus! Un vrai paradis !!! Merci infiniment Laura et Hugo ! Passez quand vous voulez à Toulouse ! Pura Vida !!!

We stopped here on our way from San Jose to Arenal Springs area, for 1 night. This place is like paradise. It is beautiful, full of birds and nature, and cute jacuzzies and pools. It is on a hill so some climbing is required during your stay, but they have the La Pez waterfalls and a few sanctuaries for animals, which make this place very beautiful and special. Sitting on the balcony felt like sitting in a the middle of a rain forest. The bathtub was amazing, made from stone and full of vegetation. Highly recommended for a romantic stay, or for taking a break in your trip.
