Fantastic stay we stayed in the duplex for two nights. The room was very specious and three of us stayed with more than enough room. The pictures didn't do the accommodation justice a large living room with very good sofa bed and plenty of room upstairs. My daughter has learning difficulties so not the easiest to accommodate but all the staff were excellent sorting her with something for breakfast which we sorted in advance but we also ate there one of the evenings and equally attentive. To note there was a fridge in the room which was mentioned so added bonus for a hot day. We are already thinking about doing it again next year.

Authentisches Inn in Carperby. Die vor dem Haus durchführende Strasse ist wenig befahren, entsprechend ruhig ist die Lage. Es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das Pub / Restaurant wird sowohl von der lokalen Bevölkerung als auch von Hotelgästen genutzt und ist gut frequentiert. Eine Tischreservation absolut empfehlenswert. Die Gasträume sind gemütlich und laden zum Verweilen ein. Im Restaurant wird typische britische Küche serviert. Die Speisen sind fein gekocht, die servierten Portionen riesig. Wohnliche und grosszügig bemessene Hotelzimmer. Die im Internet präsentierten Fotos entsprechen der Realität. Die Betten sind bequem, es gibt genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten. Sehr sauber. Im Wheatsheaf wird der Gast geschätzt. Sehr freundliches Personal welches sich offen, charmant und interessiert um seine Gäste kümmert Von den stets präsenten Inhaberinnen aktiv vorgelebt zieht sich diese Freundlichkeit durch das ganze Personal durch.

Hotel en restaurant zijn comfortabel en sfeervol. Heerlijk gegeten en een prettige ontvangst door goed personeel. De hotelkamer was ruim. Voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid. Mooie omgeving met bezienswaardigheden in de buurt, maar het dorp zelf is niet heel bijzonder.

Had a good stay as per. Food and service was excellent. Staff very pleasant and friendly, in particular the boss Claire, who when I was ill kindly offered to drive me to the local Dr's surgery which was above and beyond the call of duty! We stay at the Wheatsheaf regularly and will continue to do so. Many thanks Claire 😊 👍

We stayed for 3 nights with friends. From arrival to departure the customer service from all of the staff we received was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was well furnished and had nice views of the field across the road from the pub. It had everything we needed and the bed was very comfy. We ate in the pub every night, and both breakfast and evening meals where excellent. Well cooked, nicely presented and very tasty. The pub is in a good location, nice walks to both Aysgarth falls and Bolton Castle. We also visited Hawes, Richmond and Leyburn, which are short drives away. We enjoyed our visit so much we, along with our friends have already booked a return visit for January next year. Thank to Claire, Emily and all of the team at the Wheatsheaf, you do an amazing job.

Spent two wonderful nights at The Wheatsheaf Inn. Staff can't do enough. The pub is welcoming and cosy. Food is good, home cooked, and a very high standard. My room was single, small, cosy, and spot on. I really can't praze this well run establishment enough. I will be going back. Thankyou!

Lovely accommodation in excellent location to enjoy numerous walks in the beautiful countryside. Really friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and great food. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return to enjoy this gem .

Really warm welcome and great service. Bar has several local ales on tap and good quality hearty meals which can be taken on the bar or adjacent restaurant. The bar and residents’ lounge have wood burning stoves for a cosy drink after a day walking in the fantastic dales scenery.
