Nice hotel

I would go again with lowered expectations. We rented 3 units. location walkable to the beach. Insides are like the pictures but the surroundings not so much. The iron gate on the door appeared to be locked from the inside needing a key. But when you call they argue with you that you don't need it instead of explaining that you need to reach in and pull back the latch to get to the actual door with the code. On a second unit we rented, we found ourselves locked out when the electronic lock broke and maintenance had to come fix it. The hard part is the way they respond as if you are dishonest or complaining for a refund. I had to challenge them to open it themselves for them to see it needed to be repaired. The 3rd room had mold growth in the ceiling but they had no place to move us too so we just made the best out of the rest of our stay. It was very clean and beds were comfortable so stay here if that is all you are concerned with.

Their site was down to cancel my reservations on the date it should be canceled. Then they said no refund. So they basically stole my money. Probably due to the storm, but that's not my fault. Not cool. The management was never on site to take calls either. Free money is what they look for.

The housekeepers are amazing! The place offered is what we needed. 2 large queen sized beds, 2 bedrooms, 2 Mounted TVs and 2 AC units. We stayed in Guest Room #10 and although it is a little outdated and there are no windows in the main bedroom, it still was a pleasant experience! Shower offered nice HOT water and great water pressure. There is a skyline window in the 2nd bedroom with a mini fridge and also a skyline window in the bathroom. Everything was clean. Walls were a little outdated with peeling paint and a few water marks but For the price and location, I will not complain. There was an outdoor shower on the 3rd floor roof to rinse the sand off and I believe there was another one on the first floor. The place is super cute with the hanging chairs outside of the rooms and the scenery is really nice. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and on a private street so no heavy traffic. Property is very safe and guest lounge is super cute and clean. The only thing I did not like was that nagging pelican noise that went on all night long. Not sure if that was a part of the whole ambiance but it is annoying as hell! Beds were super comfy!

Good location, near the beach and local stores. The room they provided me was #11 and the door didn't lock, the lock was broken son the door stayed open the whole time, there was some windy weather and kept openig the door. I advised them, they acknowledge the issues and never got back to me and never fix it or change me to another the room.

This room was clean and had the basics. It is very simple but nothing fancy. While many of the nicest hotels aren’t far away, the Poshtel is in a bit of a dicey neighborhood. There was a very noisy rooster next door that began crowing at 2:30 am and didn’t stop until 5:30 am. Right outside our window.

Check-in was seamless. I liked being able to use gate and door codes. We were only given two towels (one for each person). I don’t mind reusing a time or two, but not for 4 days. There were lots of places to eat, service stations and coffee shops all within walking distance. The beach was only about a 4minute walk. It was fine for a few day getaway for just my wife and I. They may have bigger rooms, but where we stayed wouldn’t comfortably accommodate a family. Overall, we were pleased and would stay again if in San Juan.

The place was really nice, I had to stayed since my flight couldn't take of because of bad weather, the room only has a bed, it was really comfortable Self check in worked great, ny only complaint was the I didn't get the codes even when I had already arrived to the property, but I called on the phone and the guy who helped me was really patient and nice and helped me all the way 'till I got in. I just think it's a little expensive for only getting one bed and a fridge, but I likes that the bathroom was private. The kitchen was nice and they offered free coffee with cream and sugar and also some sweets which I really enjoyed. I think it depends on what you're looking for in your trip if this place would or would not work, is really close to the beach and airport, so if you're looking for a place to only go and sleep it would work, if you want rest and hang out here it won't work as much. Also the neighborhood is really loud, I would recommend bringing earplugs or getting some at the supermarket, which is also really close and is 24 hours. I really liked the place but as I said, I considered it a bit expensive.
