Residence Inn Indianapolis Carmel

After a devastating fire displaced us over two years ago, and with a contractor still dragging out the rebuild, we found ourselves without a home—again. Our lease at the apartment was up, and we needed a pet-friendly place to land, even if just for a couple of weeks. That’s when we found the Residence Inn—and it was exactly what we needed. The team didn’t just provide a room. They provided care, comfort, and genuine kindness when we were at a breaking point. Zavier, Hayden, Edd, Matt, Brooke, Jordan, Nikki, MQ, Latonya, Janielle, and Maisha—you didn’t just do your jobs. You made us feel human and seen in a season when so much felt uncertain. The little touches stood out—delicious breakfasts, cold water bottles at the front desk, and helpful support for anything from directions to tech issues. The decor may be showing its age, and the ground floor feels a bit damp from the indoor pool—but the rooms are clean, the beds are cozy, and the hospitality is unmatched. We were in between homes—but the Residence Inn made us feel like we had one.

Staff were extremely nice and helpful…however…room was very outdated as far as couch was filthy and stained, pull out bed was bent and didn’t work properly. Carpets in the room and hallways were very stained and our room and hallways had a musty smell that didn’t go away. We will not stay here again. It’s unfortunate because the staff are so very helpful and apologetic. The bathrooms were old but clean and shower was hot.

The only thing I didn't like about this property is that there's really no dining within walking distance.

Nice hotel, polite staff, great area!

The room I was in the mattresses were so outside and springs were popping up. The breakfast was okay. They need to update their beds for sure.

Front desk staff member was extemely kind and helpful. He was very professional and nice to me and my family.
