There is a large community trash can outside the window of the room on the first floor. There is also a pungent smell in the room. After communicating with the front desk, the room was changed. Why do you have to give the customer the worst arrangement first when there are other room options? Without any other interpretation, I hope I am just unlucky.

We accidentally booked the ADA room, but the staff was so kind they helped us change to the right type of room right after we contacted them. We loved the coziness of the room, and the fireplace. The breakfast at the lobby was delicious and they provide a lot of choices.

Coachman’s Inn is perfect in every way! The location is steps to shopping and dining. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and spotless. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE, and the fireplace was such a treat. The office staff were happy to answer questions and offered suggestions. Breakfast was delicious, and having cookies and cold drinks available was a nice touch. We cannot wait to return to Carmel and the Coachman’s Inn.

I booked this hotel for a special Mother's Day mini-vacation with my mom. It was fantastic! The room was cute, updated, and very clean and the Staff was great! The location couldn't be beat as it is close to great restaurants and shopping. We parked our car when we arrived and walked every where we went. The serve a very filling breakfast and the afternoon wine and snacks were very much appreciated. They served great wines too! I would book this place in a heartbeat!

Our itinerary covered 2 nts. in San Diego, 4 nts. at Coachman's, 2 nts. at Sequoias, and 2 nts. in Monterey. The 4 days and nights spent at the Coachman's Inn in Carmel were by far the most enjoyable all around experience. The location! superb!! The room was spacious, cozy, comfortable, with a lovely view of the Treehouse restaurant (yum btw) across the street. The included breakfast, happy hour, the fireplace in the lounge, in our room, Victoria and Mari, convivial folks everywhere, happy pups....close to everything you could want. Sigh. Already planning our return.
