The downside is that the room is not very soundproof. When walking upstairs, the sound of other guests going up and down the stairs is very loud, which will affect your rest. Our room is like a semi-underground due to the slope, and the window is just one foot above the ground at the entrance of the stairs, which feels average.

Carmel's B&Bs may be the ceiling of all B&Bs, but for me who has high standards for staying in hotels, this B&B is very satisfactory, especially the suite type.
