The staff were friendly and accommodating Couldn't do enough for us. Very attentive and professional. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Even though our room looked out onto the high street, there was separate glazing on the windows, so noise was significantly reduced Tea, coffee, and kettle in room. Cosy and warm. The food was excellent, both in taste and value for money, couldn't fault it at all.

Lovely hotel, the staff go out of their way to accommodate- the room was surprisingly quiet considering the road outside and the busy bar and restaurant downstairs. Room was clean and spacious with an added bonus of usb charging ports in the bedside lamps. Breakfast was enjoyable, husband had a full cooked and I had an omelette which was absolutely delicious. The price and central location makes this hotel a steal for the price.

Stayed here for 3 nights & will be returning. We had the master suite and it was lovely, very spacious and mostly modern furniture with a huge bed! The only real noise disturbance was on the first night/early morning when the bins were being emptied. The hotel had a live function on on our final night and we couldn’t hear this from our room. The breakfast was cooked from order which was nice as well as cereals and yogurts ect. My partner would’ve liked the option of a larger breakfast but that’s only because he eats a lot! We have stayed in a couple of the b&bs in Carmarthen and found this one to be the best!

Beware you will not get any sleep at this pub / hotel. They are a live music and events venue and the rooms are above the bars. We were told after paying and checking in and had no option. The master room is directly above the speakers. Not only this but the outside road hosts the taxi tank and the locals were enjoying themselves outside until 5am. A quaint pub with lovely staff but there should be an advisory or check in “confirmation” that highlights the noise issues.

Great location for walking the Wales Coast Path.
The room was a little 'tired' but generally OK. Unfortunately the heating in the rooms was not on so it was occasionally cool. The hotel did apologise once we had pointed this out to them.
The restaurant was good and the staff friendly. We would have liked prepared fruit for breakfast instead of a
limited selection of unprepared fruit.
Parking on site in a monitored car park was a real bonus.
The hotel is in a fantastic location for access to the town centre and the bus and rail stations. Could not have been better from that point of view.
