Staybridge Suites Carlsbad - San Diego

I often stay here when I'm in San Diego. Reception staff is always friendly and helpful. Large parking lot, pet friendly, room has always been clean and comfortable, and you are walking distance to supermarkets, good restaurants of all prices, and even though it's off a business street, it's quiet. Good water pressure in the shower and strong wifi. Only thing that has sort of gone downhill are the breakfast offerings and the food at the social that they have 3 times a week. The breakfast used to have a good variety of food with amazing muffins. The last few times I was there the only pastry were overcooked scones. They also didn't seem to have breakfast potatoes any longer. They still have good coffee though. I do think for business travelers that starting breakfast at 6:30 is actually a little bit too late and that it should be 6 AM. The breakfast staff is very nit picky about keeping people away until it's 6:30 on the top. For me having breakfast at 6 vs 6:30 would make a HUGE difference with traffic times so the next time I stay here, it's just not worth sitting in extra traffic for some scones not worth eating. The social used to have something that could have been considered a light dinner but the last couple of times I went it was just mashed potatoes and some bland salad lol. All that being said, I'd still stay here again if the price and convenience is right, but not count on the hotel for food anymore (other than coffee).

Very nice and clean. Family friendly and lots activities for the kids. Complimentary breakfast was good. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect accommodations for family. Kitchen appropriately equipped with full fridge. No issues with noise of any kind and room and property kept nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, amenities like in the description, friendly and attentive staff. The only thing for us was that even do there is a restaurant across the patio not a variety of food, also not a many places to eat, well that’s Carlsbad do, we celebrate my spend birthday the French bakery where we got his cake amazing. Thank you.

This was my second time staying at Staybridge suites, the rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, very family oriented facility., Kids love the continental breakfast
