A great hotel near Dublin.
The staff at the reception are very friendly and accommodating. Check-in went very smoothly.
The room is spacious, sometimes a little cold. But it is well furnished, plush and has everything you need. The bathroom is appropriately modern.
The location and the surroundings are worth highlighting. It is beautiful in the garden with a river and an island.
The hotel has lots of nice corners, sofas and places to hang out. At the moment everything is decorated for Christmas.
Breakfast is OK, if a little too English.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was lovely and big, food was excellent. Bar and waiting staff also great. We would definitely recommend a few nights here. We will be back!

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights with a group of 11 cyclists, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and made sure everything ran smoothly for our large group. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the food was fantastic. Thank you for a memorable stay—we’ll definitely be recommending this place to others.

There's not enough stars for this hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous. The design, the layout, the rooms. Outside is beautiful we sat out for hours. The staff are all so kind and helpful and genuinely lovely people. The steak was the best steak I have ever had. The food was gorgeous and the best breakie we have had. The menu has so many options. Will definitely be back.

The Woodford Dolmen looked after our golfing society in July 2025. The facilities were sublime. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming to our needs. Its location was ideal just off the motorway and a few minutes from town. Mathew and his team did a tremendous job in looking after our society. We had a private dinner function with great food and hospitality. Would highly recommend for golf societies to stay here if playing nearby.

Amazing time here for my mams birthday, From the barman Francis to the manager (😬dont know his name) everything was brilliant, I would highly recommend this hotel, AMAZING STAFF
