Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa

visited Carden park with my daughter for a mothers day stay, Saturday to Sunday. We enjoyed a lovely swim in the pol on Saturday afternoon and again Sunday morning before breakfast. We had cocktails and dinner in the very special Vines restaurant on Saturday evening. The food is cooked to perfection and the service is excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and the menu/ drinks etc explained to us by waitress Georgia. She was so warm and friendly without being over the top. The room was at the back of the hotel and very spacious, we had a double bed each, the bathroom , toiletries (Moulton Brown) and tea/ coffee facilities were lovely and plenty of TV channels which allowed us to relax and unwind . There was also a small table in the room for having a drink or playing cards . The furnishings are comfy and clean . Breakfast was well cooked and well stocked buffet style despite it being very busy that morning. We didn't feel rushed to check out as we were informed that we could use the pool again after checkout if we wished which was a nice touch. Carden parks surroundings are just beautiful and quiet for a tranquil stay . We didn't visit the new spa but checked it out and will definitely return . We would recommend this lovely hotel for a stay with family, friends etc

Where do I even begin? Carden Park will forever be the most special place in our hearts. We chose this magical venue for our wedding weekend and it was, in every possible way, the perfect decision. We arrived on the 19th July 2024 with hearts full of excitement. The bridal party stayed in the stunning Courtyard Suite (which felt like our own little slice of luxury heaven!) while the groom and his party were in the main hotel. The boys had an absolute blast playing a round of golf — they’re still saying it’s the best course they’ve ever played. Afterwards, they enjoyed drinks at the bar, while we girls were treated like royalty at Redmond’s Restaurant. The food, the service, the atmosphere — everything was just fabulous. Our wedding day on the 20th was honestly a fairytale. The sun shone down and we were so lucky to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful gazebo. The reception in the Shooting Lodge was dreamy, and the whole day flowed so effortlessly thanks to the wonderful team at Carden. Every little detail was handled with such care. The food? Impeccable. The staff? Absolute angels. We extended our celebrations with a third night and indulged in the twilight spa experience. A glass of champagne in the pool as the sun set, followed by a divine body shimmer massage and a delicious meal — it was heavenly. Like something from a movie. Fast forward a year and we’re back again, thanks to the anniversary stay included in our package — and I’m thrilled to say it’s just as perfect as we remembered. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. We stayed once again in the gorgeous Courtyard Suite with its huge bedroom, beautiful living area, and that indulgent bathtub to have a relaxing soak. We even popped out to Cheshire Oaks for a little shopping spree (hot tip: the hotel reception has a discount card for the outlets — love!). Back at the hotel, our food and drinks were once again spot on. Not a single complaint — only compliments. We slept like babies in the comfiest bed ever, then woke to a breakfast feast with top-quality options galore. Carden Park truly goes above and beyond. Every experience is luxurious, thoughtful, and full of joy. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to the entire team for making both our wedding and our 1st anniversary stay so unbelievably special. Was limited for time otherwise I would have gone to Manor Park at alsager which is cheaper and far superior . This costs so much but if it’s raining , can’t use outside facilities?? Manor Park have covered day beds with blankets and heaters for when it’s inclement. All this spa has is some pods where you have to sit bolt upright , not relaxing at all . The main pool one whole side was t working , there are a couple of other small Jacuzzi pools but they are exactly the same as each other , no variety . I’m sure they must be quiet during the winter as it’s not fun there if it’s not a sunny day , whereas Manor Park at alsager is fab rain or shine. The queuing to get booked in is ridiculous, they should stagger booking in times . You get a complimentary drink at alsager with lunch which is far superior to the offering at carden. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced. The indoor area is far too hot and overcrowded if inclement weather. Where’s the cold plunge pool? where are the relaxation rooms? Where is the variety ? Come on carden you need to catch up with the other nearby spas with outdoor facilities that are far better value for money

Carden Park has become my bolthole for some much needed R&R and a reset. Not because it's local to me or cheaper than other hotels but because it's sheer perfection in every way. It's impressive from the drive up and the gardens are superbly kept with glimpses of wildlife at every turn. The staff are wonderful, friendly but professional yet what stands out the most is that they appear to be genuinely happy at work. Everything about Carden scores a 10/10 and I leave (regretfully) each time feeling soothed and refreshed and ready for anything.

What an amazing resort! From start to finish we were so well looked after. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to also have an afternoon in the amazing Spa Gardens - Wow this place is so relaxing and stunning too! Our bedroom overlooked the Estate and had been recently refurbished - it was gorgeous and very relaxing too! Our Dinner in Redmond’s Restaurant was so delicious - Compliments to the Chef! Our waiter was very attentive and looked after us so well. Thank you Carden we can’t wait to come and stay again!
