Great rooms. Everything as a expected. Clean. Calm neighbourhood with limited traffic. Very friendly and helpful person at the reception. Gated parking is small so we didn’t have space when we came back in the evening after visiting the old town. You can park your car at the side of the road. Didn’t take the breakfast but you have bakery very close which sells bread, croissants, baguettes and hot coffee. Hotel is very close to the town center.

Un petit hôtel à un prix abordable situé à l'extérieur de la ville qui nous a parfaitement satisfait lors d'une étape à Carcassonne. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et les lits très confortables tout ce qui suffit pour passer une bonne nuit. Enorme surprise le matin, nous ne nous attendions pas à un déjeuner aussi copieux !!!! Enfin cerise sur le gâteau des hôteliers sympathiques qui ont su nous renseigner efficacement sur ce que nous envisagions de visiter. je dis bravo ! et merci

This is a 2 star hotel not a 5 star hotel yet some people seem to have written their reviews on that basis which is exceedingly unfait. For a 2 star hotel it is ideal. I feel quite strongly about this as the owner goes above and beyond and it must be so demoralising to see reviews which hold the place to 5 star standards. It's not the Ritz but doesn't pretend to be. The location is great - it sits between the old town and la cite and vlose to restaurants and shops ( there's a nicebrasserie next door and a pizzeria just opposite) It is also clean and pretty spacious. The breakfast is simple but exactly what is needed - fresh bread/ croissants etc daily from the boulangerie at the corner of the street,/ yogurts with coffee/ tea on tap during the day (if the dining toom is open). In short it's great value for money. The owner is extremely helpful and was beyond generous with me when I had to report that my black pen had leaked on to the bedsheets and mattress. I have really enjoyed my time here. and would stay again if ever in Carcassonne

This hotel small but friendly, serving bed and breakfast only, is central to Carcassonne main town the railway station, canal boat trips and river. Not far away is the old and fortified town of Carcassonne and is a spectacle to see for a day excursion travelling there by the Petit train. Hotel de la Bastide has four floors and a lift to get you up to the floors you require. The rooms are ensuite with bath or shower and have king size beds. Carcassonne has many surprises in store every corner you turn is different and interesting and many restaurants to choose from for main meals. The tourist information is right by the canal side. There is also a hourly shuttle bus to and from the airport picking up and dropping off at the railway station. An excellent four days and night had by all with thanks to the staff at this great find.

The location is slightly remote, but is closer to Carrefour's integrated business centre. Surprisingly, the hotel room is equipped with an electromagnetic cooker and some kitchen utensils, you can make a simple meal yourself. Free parking, very convenient for self-driving tour.

The location was perfect, the room was ok bathroom dirty hair on the floor and behind the door, plug stuck in bath so water wouldn’t drain. No Wifi connection. We were there for 2 days and asked for room to be cleaned and hair was not removed. The WiFi was an issue, no connection and reception just say we will reset it. Not acceptable to offer it when they clearly don’t have it in the rooms. Breakfast was great, pool area great. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. When checking out I raised all the comments again.
