Carcassonne Hotels with Bars

It was the best hotel. The architecture was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and I had a very good stay. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. I was able to buy the things I had for breakfast at the bakery next to the hotel, so I took them as souvenirs. The young woman working at the hotel was very kind to me. I would definitely like to go to this hotel again.

Excellent hotel right by the bridge to the Carcassonne fortress. The windows overlook the fortress. Large room, bath - not shower, separate toilet. For those who care - no overhead light, only sconces and a floor lamp. A gorgeous varied breakfast with hot, French cheese, jamon, pancakes, etc. In summer, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the castle. The train station is a 20-minute walk, almost always along a pedestrian street.

Very warm welcome, ideal location, and the room is perfect. The swimming pool was originally a plus, but we did not use it for more than 10 minutes and the water was cold because there is no locker or locker for the loan of bathrobes would be a plus to visit it from the room.

For those who want to spend their time exploring the walled city, this hotel is a 5-10 minute walk away. Parking is provided in two outdoor lots, but spaces are not monitored for those occupying more than one space and getting a space seems to be a matter of luck. Don’t count on the included parking being available or convenient. There is, however, sufficient room for large delivery trucks to arrive at 0200 to deal with laundry. That happens right outside hotel rooms so be prepared for an interrupted sleep. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. The breakfast is a disappointment with few choices, uncomfortable seating, and staff that seems unhappy to be there. Do not eat dinner at the hotel. It is overpriced, with mediocre food and the same uncomfortable chairs and unhappy staff. Front desk staff is inconsistent, with some friendly and helpful and others bordering on rude and hostile. There are better choices, I think.

I really enjoy to stay in this hotel, located in the historical part of the city just below the castle (10 min walk to the gates). The room was very clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine- which was a very nice surprise 😃. The hosts are very friendly, giving recommendations on the restaurants and cafes nearby, always welcoming and ready to help. The breakfast is good! Breakfast location is so nice and cozy that I enjoyed just to sit there)) There is a bell tower nearby, so every hour you hear this time-bell, but it tolls only during the day and +100 points to the atmosphere Definitely recommend!

We stayed at this hotel for one night, Bastille Day. The room was very nice, albeit the bathroom was small. The pool was great to cool down at and the bar service was excellent, with views of the castle walls. Many people watched the spectacular fireworks from here.

This pastoral yet urban hotel in Carcassonne offers pleasing aspects of the perfect harmony between the medieval and the contemporary. The rooms and suites boast vaulted ceilings and exposed stone. The silky fabrics the rich colours the wood and leather imbue each of them with a warm character. The Spa Carita is the place to unwind whereas the terrace from breakfast onwards the panorama bar the heated pool and the jacuzzi in lush greenery craft a calming and delightful universe.

Hotel facilities are OK, that is, the gym is leaking, recently deactivated, the swimming pool and sauna are open normally, the original family room has no middle floor, left the bottom floor, Trip.com customer service helped coordinate, the hotel upgraded the room type for free; The hotel is very close to the city castle, about 10 minutes walk

No lift in the hotel. No kettle in rooms. Service of staff is good. Rooms are clean. Location is not bad. There are shops nearby.
