Very cute castle, too bad they have 0 ammenities included for the price. Even for the outdoor swimming pool you need to pay extra which doesn’t make sense based on the nightly rate…

Deceptive and Discriminatory Experience
I checked in on October 20, 2024, around 6 p.m., while the castle reception was still open. The couple ahead of me received a room in the castle with assistance from the doorman. However, when it was my turn, the receptionist handed me a map and directed me to a building several hundred meters away, which required driving to reach. I didn’t think much of it initially, but when I arrived, I found the room was in a completely different hotel – an old, subpar restaurant with a few rooms. This is not the castle experience I booked.
The booking platform, hotel name, and descriptions clearly indicated a room in the castle, not a separate hotel. The noise from bugs made it impossible to sleep. I contacted the platform as the reception had closed, but the hotel insisted this was a “castle room” – a blatant lie.
1. The platform lists these as two distinct hotels.
2. The hotel's official website confirms these are separate properties with different names and standards.
3. I booked a week in advance, and if they were fully booked, I should have been informed to adjust or cancel my trip.
This was the most disappointing hotel experience I’ve ever had – everything was different from what was advertised.

La loro pubblicità recita: "Il Summer Club della Vinum SPA è il luogo ideale per chi è alla ricerca di relax in un ambiente outdoor curato e silenzioso...." Vi assicuro che di silenziono non c'è proprio nulla se capitate in una giornata nella quale arriva qualche gruppo o in quelle nelle quali accedono dei bambini (seppure sul sito sia scritto che è viatata ai minori di 16 anni). Urla, schiamazzi, videochiamate, il ghiaccio del cestello del vino gettato nella piscina... Per 50 euro, ci si aspetterebbe la tranquillità decantata, altrimenti se ne possono spendere molti meno in una piscina pubblica.

Mi è stato suggerito di regalare a mia figlia un'esperienza al Castello di Spessa visto che ora lei vive in zona. La prenotazione del vaucher è stata un'odissea. Dal sito non è stato possibile prenotare, al telefono ho parlato con diverse persone, il pagamento con carta di credito non è andato a buon fine. Finalmente ho avuto occasione di parlare con Federico Mandolese del servizio marketing che ha risolto tutti gli inghippi. Fino a quando il vaucher emesso è passato al servizio Spa che avrebbe dovuto inviarlo la mattina di un giorno preciso al beneficiario. È arrivato nel pomeriggio dopo l'invio di 2 mail e una telefonata. La giustificazione è stata che l'addetta era molto impegnata. Mi auguro che il soggiorno sia tutt'altra cosa.

Voucher for 3 hours of spa. Unfortunately the voucher expires, I call to ask to reactivate it even paying a penalty, NO nothing doing. In other places they somehow come to your aid perhaps by offering significant discounts or simply accepting the voucher. In short, think about it when you give vouchers (especially at weddings where you receive many); a voucher is in fact a banknote tied to a place and with a short expiration. Zero advantages, especially if the other party finds unfairness.

Great and the spa is a highlight
The Castello is great but the spa is the real highlight. A bit undersold on the website and on the booking engines. It's a heaven of tranquillity, with jacuzzi, pools, saunas, steam rooms, cold rooms, massages, all in great scenery.
