Great weekend getaway. Peaceful surroundings, the gardens are beautiful. Rooms equipped with everything one needs, and a lovely fireplace to snuggle up to with a glass or 3 of wine. Garden view room was just what I needed. Thanks to the team

We had a one night stay. What an absolute stunning place. Amazing staff, Sipo in reception was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and beautiful. Fireplace going to keep warm. We had everything we need. Amazing food (dinner and breakfast) at the Succulent restaurant with amazing service from our waitress and kitchen staff. We had the most beautiful views of the garden as well as the surrounding mountains. Overall very happy. Thank you we will be there again!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise in diesem Hotel. Beim letzten Mal waren wir im Excelsior Manor, welches leider ausgebucht war und sie haben uns dann dieses ebenfalls ausgezeichnete Guest House emfohlen. Super schöne Lage, grosser Kakteen Park, sauberer Pool, ausgezeichnetes Restaurant und sehr schöne Zimmer. Jederzeit wieder! Können es allen weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful guest house with the most spectacular gardens I have ever seen. The rooms are comfy and I like that they provide wall units and bug spray. Dinners and breakfast yum! We went to The Small Hotel in town for lunch and I preferred the space of Mo and Rose. Peter at reception was great and does everything for you and is very calm. I would say though it lacks having the owner onsite and seeing what touches can be added- like a glass of something for new years ( or even a sign / crackers or something !) . The towels were musty and even though put on floor not changed. The fridge was making a noise and when we turned it off it leaked onto carpet and stank up the whole unit. You could see many people have done this in the past … so maybe move the carpet ?

The perfect place to go for a getaway. Beautifully furnished accommodation, beautiful gardens and the food is absolutely amazing. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to be of assistance. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My husband and I went with our 4 year old daughter. I can highly recommend this place. The food is AMAZING, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The gardens are an amazing experience in themselves. They had no kids playground equipment, but my daughter had a fabulous time, regardless. She made friends with the sweet black and white cat and had great fun exploring the ample and interesting gardens. The only downfalls were that the water was brown cos of recent storms (this included tap and pool water). Also our lunch took around 3 hours from start to finish cos they had a bunch of staff who didn’t pitch on the 27th, so there was one poor sod servicing the whole kitchen. We weren’t fussed though, as it was a lazy day and we were enjoying the environment. The only recommendation I have to the establishment is to ask the cleaners to only start cleaning once visitors are checked out. It gave us the sense that they were trying to hurry us out, despite it still being pretty early.

Wir reisten am Freitag gegen 16.00 Uhr, an. Beim Empfang wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Personal am Montag nicht anwesend sein wird. Das Frühstück inkl. Voucher müsste auswärts eingenommen werden (echt jetzt). Jedoch haben Sie noch die Kurve gekriegt und uns angeboten, dass jemand von Ihnen uns das Frühstück zubereiten würde wenn wir das möchten, was wir annahmen. Das Frühstück fällt nicht üppig/vielfältig aus und jedes zusätzl. Extra müsste bezahlt werden. Das Zimmer Nr. 4 scheint in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Das Bett knallhart und nicht gerade entspannend. Aufgrund der Geräusche vom JoJo-Tank konnten wir wechseln. Das Zimmer Nr. 6 war grösser und besser unterteilt (Matratze knallhart). Jedoch auch in die Jahre gekommen. Mit einigen wenigen Handgriffe könnte dies aufgehübscht und à jour gebracht werden. Die Bilder sind vielversprechender als das Antreffen vor Ort. Übrigens ab dem späteren Nachmittag ist keiner mehr von den Angestellten anwesend also waren wir 3 Tage völlig alleine auf der ganzen Anlage. Das Plus: traumhafte Gartenanlage und stets bemüht dem Gast etwas gutes zu tun.

What a fabulous stay we had at Mo & Rose. Received a complimentary bottle of MCC from the manager when she heard it was our anniversary. The facilities, staff and gardens were exceptionally. Service was excellent from check in to check out. The rooms are beautifully furnished and has everything You require. The meals were SUPERB! The breakfasts were huge and absolutely delicious. Will most definitely be back. Loved every minute of our stay.
