The location and surrounding area is spectacular and unique. However, the hotel lets itself down by really quite poor food by South African standards, especially as it is premium priced. It's also a fantastic place to star gaze but there is no sensible area to do so in comfort away from lights. Why? When I asked where the best place was, I was told the car park!

We slept in both the honeymoon cave and standard cave. Both were excellent. We upgraded to the Star Suite - this was the most amazing experience sleeping in the open air

Kagga Kamma's staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable! Upon learning that it was our honeymoon, our housekeeper, Jamie-Lee, made arrangements to make our stay extra special. The only difficulty was the gravel roads leading up to the lodge. Not great if you have a small car.

From the moment I made the booking I received excellent service, I had to make changes to my stay and it was organised with no huge fuss , I arrived and was informed of the facilities and activities that were on offer . I booked in immediately a few massages for my rest periods and quad biking tour , sunset & night tours . The room was as advertised very well fitted out and modern with a beautiful mountain backdrop with the sun setting in front of my room . The staff were very friendly and informative on the animals and the history of the park and surrounding areas . Plenty of great hiking trails which I did , bike trails to do or just rest at the pool and relax , massages were fantastic they knew what they were doing . Had a great time with Hein on quad biking tour . Won’t be my last visit hopefully next time with my partner ! Don’t put off going for a get away you will never forget. Terence from Australia

Tatsächlich ist es eine einmalige Lage und Landschaft und man nimmt die lange Anfahrt dafür gerne in Kauf. Die Anlage schmiegt sich in die Felsen wie keine andere. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen ist gut. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein Erlebnis

We eloped at Kagga Kamma and stayed for 6 nights. It was by far the nicest place we’ve ever been! The staff were so helpful and friendly, and no request was too much. We stayed in a cave room and spent one night sleeping in an outdoor suite - would highly recommend. Our elopement was beautiful and the staff arranged everything perfectly. The activities were fun and the food was amazing. Absolutely no faults (as long as you’re not twitchy about wild animals, including spiders!), it was wonderful.

This was a absolutely amazing experience, with great receptionists, as well as Henro and (struggling to remember his name), but they were so helpful. This is a beautiful place and perfect to spend quality time tohether.
