Was not a great start when we arrived at the gate with my European friend in a luxury car and the security asked me if I'm the Uber driver. Shocking And very uncomfortable does not mean because I’m a person of colour driving a luxury car that I’m a uber driving shocking please inform your staff accordingly. We had snacks and a drink in the leopard bar before going down the the restaurant for lunch drinks was good but I think a margarita should be served in a margarita glass not a whiskey glass it’s a 5 star hotel. The snacks and service was excellent. After we had lunch the service here was also excellent the manager very kind came to check up on us and our waitress Sisonke was just exceptional. Food was good nothing special fillet was overcooked. Lamb was really good. Deconstructed crème brûlée texture was a bit off and not smooth the creamy as it’s supposed to be over all we had a great time because of the amazing service In the restaurant. Thanks again Sisonke and all the team

Amazing hotel from the moment you arrive. Staff are extremely attentive and hotel well equipped, beautifully decorated/appointed and extremely clean. Breakfast great selection of fresh well prepared food and drink. Hotel well placed for a short safe walk to V&A are surrounding De Waterkant area with lovely local shops, bars and restaurants.

The tv could not connect to the internet. After exhaustive attempts I was told that the internet on the tv was locked and that an IT technician was the only person who could unlock. This person of course was not available until morning. After requesting to be moved to another room with a working tv I received no feedback or response from reception. The experience overall was good, however, not a 5-star experience. Word of advice, call ahead to ask for a room with a working television (that’s connected to the internet) if you are going to be watching Netflix etc.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here And I can honestly say it was better than the first time if that is possible. The staff are friendly and so accommodating. The breakfast is amazing and the Morii restaurant is a taste experience, well worth a visit. As a wheelchair user, the accessibility is perfect, our room did not look in least bit “ disabled’ yet it accommodated my needs. The guest experience manager, Mkho, organised a shower chair for me that made my husband Adam’s caring role much easier and more comfortable for me. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay here. We arrived early and exhausted after 24 hours of travel and the manager Emma was so kind to us, finding us a room available to check in early and went above and beyond to fix an error on the booking (that I had made). We were given a high floor room so there really was no noise from the city. Great breakfasts, great pizza in the restaurant. Free transport to V&A waterfront which we used once. Short walking distance to the conference centre, or a $3 uber. I'd stay here again!

A lovely choice to stay in bantry bay. The views from the bedroom (room 13) were spectacular over the ocean. This hotel is run with great taste by the owners who are on site much of the time to ensure everything is running as it should. Excellent staff who cannot do enough to please. Lovely breakfast selection - plentiful buffet and menu options also included. Lunch salads can be ordered on request and delivered to the pool if required. Tea and home made cake in the afternoon. The pool area is very nice - 8-10 beds with towels and parasols and a spotless pool. A 15 minute walk into sea point centre which has great shops and amenities. Downhill on the way there so uphill on the way back. You might want to take an Uber back! All in all a great stay and would recommend.
