Bimbi Park - Camping under Koalas

Room: Cleanliness is acceptable, with complete facilities, but the bed is too small, it is very crowded if there are many people, and the bed is a movable bed with rollers. When turning over, the bed will move, and the comfort is poor. Overall not bad

Although we were driving on local trails at night, the road surface was fine. Pay attention to the roadside prompts. There were many wild kangaroos wandering in groups on the road, so drive slowly. Beware of kangaroos standing in the road and staring at the car. The campground was very satisfied, although the flight was delayed and arrived at midnight. But the administrator took care of all the procedures and thoughtfully packaged the bathing token. Although the room was an RV, it was hygienic and clean. The towels were very comfortable. The next day I was woken up by the noise of a parrot. This is a real sanctuary with flocks of parrots and other birds. Unfortunately, there were strong winds and heavy rain, so we didn’t see the koala. Would go again. In the freezing rain, thank you! An elderly tourist took me to the administrator's residence. I will remember his appearance and enthusiasm throughout my life.

On the way of self-driving on the Great Ocean Road, before crossing Apollo Bay to Port Campbell, Otway National Park is a must-go mountain road. This campsite is one of the few accommodation options on this road. You can drive there with confidence. The road is paved with good conditions along the way. When you turn off the main road near the campsite, it is a gravel road that can be driven by ordinary cars. Kangaroos were seen on the roadside at night, and the reflection of the sign was quite scary. It is recommended to walk during the day. It is not a hotel, but more like a campsite with a variety of room types. There is no private bathroom. There is a public toilet in the entire camp. It is very clean but the water is limited. One token can wash hot water for 3 minutes. You can really see koalas in the campsite. During the day, go to the front desk to find the person in charge and ask which forest there is and then find it. The success rate is high.

In a forest deep in the Great Ocean Road, driving in is a different experience. There is no wifi in the campsite and there is basically no signal. China Mobile has a little bit. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need. You can see the starry sky at night. The next day, I saw a koala on the tree at the door of the cabin. I was very lucky.
