Hampton Inn & Suites Cape Canaveral Cruise Port

A long time Hampton customer but this hotel fell a bit short on cleanleness. The room appeared to be clean but the bathroom had hair in the bathtub and hair all over the bathroom floor Cleaned most of that myself. Tissues holder had 3 tissues in it.

Spent one night here prior to a cruise. This is a nice newer Hampton property that shares most amenities with the Home2Suites, which is located in the same building. The lobby, pool, interior hallways, etc. serve both properties. The hotel is behind Homewood Suites. Aimee at the Front Desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I pre-chose a room on the app, but she asked me if I wanted to wait for that room or she could get me right in a different room. I used to own a hotel property and appreciate the value of happy and motivated employees. This was on a hectic afternoon where the entire property had been full the night before, and would be full with all new check-ins the same day. I appreciated her extra effort. A busy hotel with nice rooms, very inviting public areas including a pool, pool bar, two breakfast areas, and large fire pit. This property and about a dozen others are less than a mile to the Port Canaveral cruise terminals, so the prices are premium (I cancelled a room at the Homewood Suites, another Hilton property next door) that was $520 with tax. I paid about $375 with tax at the Hampton. More expensive than I’ve spent at 4 star European hotels! The location can’t be beat. The area around the hotel isn’t ideal for walking, and the restaurant choices are very limited. Walked to a good Italian restaurant where the wait was 1 hour plus. There are a handful of restaurants plus some fast food chains. The only downside was the cruise shuttle, which was operated by a third party. Apparently they were having a bad day and we waited about 1.5 hours after our scheduled time to finally get a ride. There are only two shuttle times, so take this possibility into consideration. A solid and predictable, newish Hampton in a great location. Just plan on paying for that convenience. All of the dozen or so hotels in the immediate area look relatively new, and another is being built. Your best bet is to reserve early as the sheer number of cruise passengers ensure each property sells out most nights.

Great hotel. It a bad area at all its a port. Pool Was being refilled so we went across the lot to the sister hotel overall good area close to cocoa beach

I liked the fact that we were .03 miles from the Cruise ship. Very beautiful place. It is our go to place to stay! Highly recommend this Hotel!
