We spent a night here on our European road trip, and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending La Fornace del Sole. The accomodation is set in a semi rural location and is very peaceful, and set in a large garden, with outside seating ,and ample parking space, behind a secure gate. Gabriella, our lovely host provided a superb home cooked meal, at short notice, and an equally good breakfast . The house itself is beautifully kept, and a credit to it's present owner. There is one little foible though. Apparently rhe previous owner of the house was something of an amateur artist and there are quite a few examples of their work adorning the walls of the house. They had a style somewhere between Gothic and Norman Rockwell! Interesting, judge for yourself. All in all, a great place to stay, This part of the world is something of a tourist hotspot, and the accommodation prices reflect this, so if you are looking for both a reasonable price and good hospitality, then La Fornace del Sol hits the spot.
